passion, it can all be summed up in one word.... The music you hear in the scene is written by people with passion by people who love writing music... the music you buy is stale, written out of greed for the love of money, and not out of passion
the graphics you see, passion... a coder sets down with an idea, and believes in what he's doing....
I work and live in a world thats so dull and grey, the only place i find color is in the scene, the only place i can seem to find passionate people is here.

Ive followed the scene for only about 4 years now, but I cant imagine life without it. Ive never been as good as many of the other coders/musicians, but I am content with the wonderful products they churn out and continue to do just for the sake of loving it. Cheers to the scene. It is not dead despite the rumors on the internets.
