Collective EP #1

Fresh and varied tracks from the aging french scene musicians. You can almost feel the alzheimers!

Tracks by Alexel, ChrisCB aka Torone, Mister Electronic Demon aka MedCG, Giovanni B, Oxb, Willbe aka Monsieur Président, Knos, Kaneel, Tom aka ChaosNeT aka Chaosnet, moonove aka Keio aka Djam aka Djamm and Alkama.

Some tracks were made in the mountains, some in decrepit once-grand hotels in Italy. Some were made on tincans, some on expensive monitors. Some with acoustic instruments and some with just enough 0-and-1s to make actual sounds. Some may feature traces of vocals. Some actually feature vocals! And beats, and funk and whichever it is we find beautiful.

in case there's someone who's in contact with him - please tell him he's missed.

He's sort of shifted away from the core.. I believe he's sound director in some cell phone game company.

There's gonna be a second compilation. So more names shall appear :)

NB: Regarding Traven, he was the audio director from Gameloft, up to late april (he resigned for something else, according to his blog)

when i first saw the title of this thread i was full of horror. people who followed a certain unpleasant feud in 2005 will know why. :P

but now i'm relieved and gonna give it a listen tomorrow.

Well it's been a long i wanted to show that there are still some active musicians from the early years of demoscene.

There will be a #2 and i'm already planning contacting some -grandpa's- to contribute.
