Hugi Online

guard][an: Sure but purely content based web sites should be accessible regardless of the resolution. No ?

And noone talked about making THE PERFECT mag. WRT the online version, people complained about the accessibility and design. Those things can be addressed within an afternoon.
Seriously have you checked Hugi in IE, FF, OP, SF ? in different resolutions ? That's the least you guys could have done.
JSYK, in FF the is Serif and sans-Serif font. This may well be a bug as it doesn't behave like that in OP and IE. Anyway this is not the best idea ever. Typography and colors are very important. Reading 3km wide lines of light gray text on a dark-medium gray background is painful.

So the people who don't have a PC and for whom dowloading an .exe will do no good are just too lazy. Good thinking. For starters we do hugi as hobby, the online versions are not perfect
we realise this but you know we dont have as much time to make eveything (including the .exe) even more better. The online versions and are just for those who are to lazy to download the .exe (as written before) still we hope to reach more people this way.

Do you solely have any idea of the codebase and DB of Pouet ? Moderation is not only not the way of the scene, but it would require massssssive rewrite. Far far far beyond the suggested changes of the online version of Hugi.Anyway, maybe this is just wishfull thinking, some people will never change on pouet I guess and the admins look like they dont care either..

No: Amiga -> hobby computers -> the scene ----------------------------> diskmags -> Hugi
It won't work. Let's talk about.. the dangers of enforcing political correctness in speech and writing in the early 1990s. Here's the water buffalos story for starters.

Using Cascading Style Sheets I've modified the Hugi 33 Online website so that the background images aren't repeated if the resolution is higher than 1024x768. This is not the ideal result - the ideal state would be the images automatically adapting to the resolution - but it's better than the previous state, I think. Still it's recommended to view the pages using 1024x768 for best experience.
Looks absolutely horrible in 1400x1050.
bäh... würg.. kotz...
at least center it in an iframe or smth..
