could be this "we are the strange" movie also contains videorips? anyway, the trailers leave behind a good impression..
seeing that the thread with mdotstrange was on 2A03.org.. he seems to me quite american (read: oblivious to the concept known as demoscene, but very keen on retro gaming). apologies for the generalisation and other shit you don't believe.

Just to be clear, the "We are the strange" matter is settled. M dot Strange has admitted to the use of Yerzmyey's track (in the trailer) as an honest mistake and has apologised, and it's now properly credited on the YouTube page. If I may quote Yerz:

something new to add..
has anyone hear jenna g's new album. "for lost friends", i bought it the other day.... one track, track 5.. don't bury me... sounds like a snippet of jeron tel.. not a lot just the sound, at the very start.. like it's been sampled, and echo'd and played at various pitchs..
not 100% sure, so saying it does remind me. just the FX does remind me HEAPS of JT's sound.
like supremcy or the intro for dutch breeze by bml, where i think he used that effect.
It's a tricky one for me coz i like the demo scene, and without it i'd not be making drum & bass myself, also it doesn't form the melody/bulk of the tune. I do like her music also.
but i'm not sure of the sound, just it does sound VERY familour.

okkie : nah m8. just certain things.. i did listen to it a few times before posting, as i said wasn't 100% sure and besides it doesn't form the melody of the tune. its not being paranoid, just thought i'd see what others thought, and as i said i'm not 100% sure as its not blatently obvious as other things. I actually like the artist in this case, she's also a radio dj.

I found a snippet (of bad quality) from the show on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TENsqoSuTYI. The last 8 seconds of it plays the Juno theme-of-the-year in the background, it is barely recognizable in the noise of the audience and presenter voiceover in this clip.

maybe it was used more than once though, would have to contact the broadcaster for the playlist... they are legally obligated to make one for prs / royalty payments in the uk.. sure its the same world wide..

Timba has released a record, and Norwegian paper Aftenposten rates it a 4 out of 6. There is, however, an opportunity for the readers to rate the record and to write a comment, and here's an opportunity to put some focus on the case. That is, if your Norwegian isn't too rusty.
