ps, how many visits/pageviews have pouet per day?
I've only worked in medium-little projects (about ~20k pageviews/day), so I'm not sure if I would be able or not to understand how to optimize pouet. I suposse pouet has high traffic time segments, where it is slow... but well, you know. I might be comfortable under ~50k pageviews/day, but I have no idea on higher range websites. I have only the usual knowlegde about database optimization and some few experience with mysql optimization, but I have just done testing with millions or hundred thousand registers tables at home, not in real websites (not yet).
Not sure if I would be helpful or not. But we could talk if you want to.
