Sega rarely makes a good game... Shenmue... Panzer Dragon 4... Super Monkey Ball... can't really think of many more games... golden axe (but just because of Jeroen Tel :D)
A few days ago I was trying "Where in the USA is Carmen Sandiego?" on my family's old Tandy 1000, and... boy, did the 5 1/4" floppy version suck. It asked for disk 1, then disk 2, then disk 1 again, then disk 2 again; I was swapping disks every few seconds for about four minutes before it finally got from the logo screen to the title screen. Beyond that, more swapping for another two or three minutes... and I gave up.
Now, as for this thing... What's it doing? Re-loading the game world, graphics, etc from disk EVERY SINGLE TIME?

Horrible game.. console loading times suck hippopotamus arse! also the scripters and coders of menu screens and confirm dialogues should have their fingers cut off..
On atari XL + tapedeck loading times were worse, though.. it's still not the bad old days..
Sega made plenty of good games. for the megadrive there are some gems: SOR2, Phantasy Star IV, Shining Force 2, Ristar, Sonic, vectorman, etc, etc..
although i admit the arcade games are quite limited in terms of gameplay. Outrun , Afterburner and G-Loc were all about the show..

heh, it was not just a drive, it was a MEGA DRIVE! It's like megabass, but than cooler.
