I would just let everyone that are insecure about what ascii is to take a look at asciis on www.thuglife.org and get ideas and inspiration;)

That was a nice thread for a change! :-) I think ascii is nice but of course not necessary.

but why restrict the use of ascii in nfo's/diz'es ?
there has to be more practical uses for ascii, for good or worse.

how many in here actually reads the .nfo file, unless the given demo doesn't run?

naaah.. I doubt that mixing ascii with the actual demo would look cool. :/

i always read infofiles. they're often big fun to read. ("children of the bong! this is the infofile!" etc)
well, _rm a.k.a. tekk a.k.a. mov4x, that's YOUR point of view, and i know hardly any other ascii artist who shares it. but i don't think here's a place to discuss it, we would just confuse people.

plaf, i think i have a released like 3 collies since 2003 so i don't know which one i was talking abuot. but in any case, if you need a logo drop me a line at dipswitch at kaoz dot org - or alternatively ask zuus because his logos are awesome and more people should use them!
