This is what I've gathered but please correct me if I'm wrong...

Some Tristar members weren't let into TRSI in 1990 and say the merger was "illegal". They decide to keep using the Tristar label, and by "keep using" I mean not release anything until 2002 when they release a really crappy "oldschool" intro coded in basic by some completely different group for them. Then they release a couple of mediocre music disks of Amiga game music remixes and start "wars" on web forums.
