I understand your point, and I understand it well. I also understand that this is something that won't change, since you can't force people to change their voting style. If you do that you get the problems Lug00ber already mentioned. A jury will always mirror the taste of the person selecting the jury, etc..
I'm pessimistic of nature, so I don't think the tenency of getting weird results at small parties will change. (For example. Since Kindergarden had about 50 visitors, out of which not everyone voted, it's almost impossible to get very fair results since even one person voting can affect a lot). This thread clearly shows that more people are in it for the fun than for the strict and fair, at least out of the ones caring enough to answer. Of course, one can argue that you should disqualify all the joke prods or whatever, but then you'll have a whole new discussion about what humour is, who's joking and so forth.. And still it wouldn't be right.
That's why I won't bother to answer more, it's just going around the same circle again and again, I'd rather spend that time doing something else, like getting pictures to Slenpung.

Rankings doesn't mean shit. What matters is contributing and participating. A good portion of the voting people will always vote "strange", it's just a bit more obvious on smaller parties.
