rarefluid: please, how do you capture DOS demos? i tried grabbing them via DOSbox but some demos are even on my 4GHz machine too slow!

sml: Tried to kkapture Contour, but the sound sucked... I might try again in the next days... or maybe if someone has the music???

nula: I'll write up a how-to today. Till then try setting the cycles to some value you think is ok for the demo (e.g. 60.000) and the activate the capturing with CRTL-ALT-F5. The window flickers, the sound is awful and it takes some time to finish, but the final video should be ok...

contour sound is damn hard to get right with kkapture. haven't worked out what the soundcode does exactly, but it's strange.

probably the best thing to do is just splice the original mp3 in directly. the demo runs fine and without and stuttering in kkapture, so sync should work out (maybe figure out an initial delay, but not much more than that).

ryg: I wanted to do that, but couldn't find the mod/mp3. Any idea/link?...

rarefluid, just rename (or copy) contour.exe to contour.mp3 and play it in winamp.

may take some time for winamp to actually find the first frame, but works just fine for me :)
