The reason why the danish caricatures caused such mayhem was because they had a moking drawing of the prophet, when depicting him is not allowed at all in Islam. Btw, that's the reason why arab architecture contains such nice demo'ish patterns.
Sure, most moslims probably wouldn't be glad about seeing an unholy animal where the Kaba should be, but probably it's not as bad as depicting the prophet.

@ Skate : you're wrong, Muslims don't like pork beacuse people die when the pork meal is stored in bad conditions. As the were no news paper it was easy to give the information through the religion because 10 centuries ago everybody go to hear a priest or whatever having the same function in the religion of your choice.
