Looks alot like the famous Fast Tracker 2 editor from Triton Prods doesn't it? In fact it works alot like it too.

Theres never been a better time to make YM2149 chip music on Atari ST, with modern trackers theres no need to use obscure unstable editors anymore.

In fact if you need an excuse to start, the editor pictured above - maxYMiser - has a music compo running for it right now - deadline 4th December 2006.

I want to encourage non-typical Atari composers to try out the platform, there are some really good Atari ST emulators out for Windows and other platforms.

If you want to give it a go - here is a list of the simple compo rules http://www.preromanbritain.com/maxymiser/compo.html and also some links for emulator users.

Famous Atari chip musicians Dma-Sc and 505 prepared some instruments and tutorials you can get on the maxYMiser homepage.

can't make it run under Saint. I mean, it runs, but there's no mouse pointer. No mouse move nor ALT+arrow detected either. Some1 actually managed to run either the 1Mb or 2 MB version under Saint ?. if so, how, and what's the config ?.
