Point to Breakpoint
category: general [glöplog]
Breakpoint sounds _very_ promosing. great news guys
I sureyl respect the MS orgas decision.
Although it's really sad to see the end of such a great event over all those past years now!
But also better stopping it at the best point instead of losing quality and getting 'boring' for the visitors cause of lack of real scene-orga...
So BREAKPOINT sounds also very promising to me now!
Of course DON'T take it wrong and try to compare it to MS ever!!
BREAKPOINT is surely a completely NEW party event which wll first have to settle its own 'special atmosphere' scenewise!
But seeing the orga-team for the moment it looks surely very promising that they will have the power to make this a respectable future scene event for the esatern time as well!!
So let's *ALL* give them a chance they surely _deserve_ and let's support them with our presence for the first edition of BREAKPOINT in 2003 !!!
to orga: Wish you all the BEST and will definitely cross my fingers for you!!
Let's get it going and KEEP THE SCENE SPIRIT ALIVE!!
Great effort you're trying here!
Bye,
Weasel

with some of the hands horribly mutilated by pouet.net :...(
Demo train from Berlin (also via Hannover and so on) would be nice and I think even several polish sceners would use it.
i think breakpoint could be a valid 'alternative' to ms!
an advice to ryg: (really just an advice, no offence :)
instead of using a mysql prompt, try using some of the nifty SQL-browsers available, like ZDE which is particularly useful when you have port access to the server, or this PHP client which is just a bunch of PHP's you can upload and use as an SQL browser quite friendly.
Remember what happened to the party-database on pouet :)

gargaj: in fact he forgot the "WHERE ... " statement in the delete part of our admin script, no sql browser would have helped him ;)
kb: well actually clicking the "delete" button with the correct field selected is way less risky :)
gargaj: you mean you'd code an admin script that actually clicks on buttons in nice gui tools?
seems like you choose the hard way around :)

FooLman: well only if _you_ can't do that :)
