Is there a way to search for all the demo's that have been kkaptured or otherwise turned to video?

None that I'm aware of.

That option would be cool. Also a way to search for demos with source code would be cool. I think there's a thread for requests. I don't remember the thread's name :(

googlevideo and youtube might be a good idea actually, lots of demos there already.

we want hi-res, not youtube or googlevideo! :)

Same request for me... Since my iBook G4 is my main computer, I can't the nice last released PC demo, so hi-res videos are really usefull :)

Platform icon for video capture would be nice. One idea is to search from scene.org. At least I've somehow managed to "collect" 10GB of demos from different resources :)

BUT i think demo videos shouldn't be like any mtv or youtube video orelse the demoscene will really be saved by ep :/

i mean they should at least show a short intro or an overlay tag presenting the name/group/date/OS/test-puter so that the demo aspect isn't forgotten.

maybe kkapture can provide such a standard intro/tag for each dumped video :>

on 2nd thoughts a permanent overlay tag would be too obstructive and spoil the watching pleasure.

but a presentation intro would be good :)

I'm sure that these old DOS demos interests a lot of people...you're right about ripping the soundtrack in MP3...it will be the first thing i'll do when i DL it!
