Can Smurfs code demos?

I mean ... there are many Smurfs but AFAIK there's no Coder Smurf. So my first guess was that Smurfs can't code demos, and this is bad. *BUT* at least one Smurf does have a trumpet and now this is a fact, not just a rumor. So I'm kinda lost...

Frums by 3LE had some smurfs I think, that demo should be qualified as a smurf demo
