lego for graphicians is what you need
those legos are availble on thingeek too
I'm wondering... why are these calles PixelBlocks and not VoxelBlocks?
nanook makes a good point... but one thing i'd like to see more of: voxel artists.
but those blocks look pretty cool. try doing some groovy 3D fractals/metaballs/whatever on paper and then building them. it's like a 3D printer for poor people!

girls are np-complete
If someone succeeds in using these (or lego, or similar) to create a full-length stop-motion-animated wild demo featuring metaballs at no less than 10FPS, I promise to vote for them.
Ah, what the hell. I'll buy them a beer as well.

Attach animation steps to a big disc. Rotate the disk really quick. You also need a shutter rotating at the same RPM, in front of the eye to give the desired effect and not just blur.
Don't forget these: http://www.dot-s.net/ They are more pixellike and even have bub and bob!
nice stuff :D
