One of the great classic A500 demos, and definitely one of my favourites. Ok, the "panther" cover could've been removed from the soundtrack, but it's ok otherwise :)

Sporting effects that still feel fresh, one of Jesper Kyd's most epic soundtracks, superb design, and some spectacular 2D art, this demo's influence to this very day can be seen in a lot of modern productions. This demo actually only came in second at the first 'The Party' in 1991 ... after that boring 45 min. slideshow from Alcatraz ... not the scene's finest hour

First demo I've ever seen on any computer on an A1000 from a public domain club in Duesseldorf, a few mins later Voyage by Razor. Man, I was IMPRESSED! First part rulez surpreme! I will never forget about it!

arguably the most revolutionary demo ever. imho this prod took the demoscene into a new era. just a massive amount of cool innovating effects with great ideas behind them. the rest (design, gfx, music) is also cool, but that's not the special thing about this one.

how come i didn't thumb this yet? ranks highly in my favs-of-all-time. great design touches... such as the screen-wipe. :) Those are the kind of details that are missing in today's demos.
This one runs in the blood of every scener of the early nineties. If I ever get one of those smileyhearts, this is where I'll put it. Imho this is THE most important demo in the history of the Amiga scene.
It will always be remembered as a the stuff of a legend. Eternal greetings must go to the people behind this masterpiece : you guys showed us how magic the scene could be. Thanks for that.

Great stuff! Cube side transforming into a Hardwired logo, the wireframe object transforming into different object in an unusual way rule! Of course there are more cool effects but these are the ones that i think about if someone asks me the question what's your favorite effect in Harwired. Also the music and most of the effects rule!

Nah... another one of those demos which are hyped for reasons that are far beyond my mind. The music is quite good, but the rest is simply average - not bad, but also not that exiting (even for that time) --> piggy.

I actually paid for this demo, as in 90s there was no internet to download from, dialing onto a BBS was unreal, I was too young for copy parties, and the only person in town who had a copy was that pirate who was charging for copying every single disk (there were no copyright laws here yet).

The first scene with the cockroach and stuff is excellent. The rest is the usual technical showoff which never ages well, but hey, back then it inspired people to do better.

Omg, this is so cool.
Fuckings to The Spy and Murphy for making me waste way too much time fixing their 48 faces glenz vector part. Next time (*giggle*) you might want to read the 68000 manual, specially the section about bset and memory locations. bset #1,$dff02e == THE HORROR! I learnt to hate this very demo with a passion. But it's still a masterpiece of course! :)

10 minutes long and not a single boring moment, lots of outstanding FX and a great soundtrack - pure classic!
This demo significantly raised the bar for demos at the time - consistent design and colors, impressive effects (at the time), stylish intro, efficient use of 1mb, lots of attitude. A shame it didn't win that competition

Yeah, should have won. That year's best Amiga demo, and one of the best A500 demos ever made. One of the first demos with good design. The effects are great - I love the pixelized vectors!. Jesper Kyd's music fits the demo perfectly, and it's another reason this demo stood out from the crowd back in 1991. Gfx also fit the demo very well.

I have already voted, I'm just making a note here that a Google search for "hardwired pouet" (without the quotes) finds a (copycat) BBS name instead of this prod, and nowhere on the first page can it be found. This should suggest that there is something wrong with the SEO, perhaps only in this instance?

Finally, had a chance to see this one on my real Amiga 500 - after months of getting the parts, as this demo specifically requires 512+512kb! What an outstanding production! Now I understand why it's considered one of the best demos even today!
