Marching cubes indeed, made me chuckle. But overall this smells like Linux.

@Preacher I assure you that demoing can happen just as well on Linux - there's probably a bias towards more programmers and fewer artists using it, so you get more programmer art.

Thrown together in the last few weeks because I wanted to go to Revision and you can't just show up to a demo party without any demo :) Glad some people found it quite funny.

hey, I'm kinda proud that we were able to nerd-snipe you into writing intros at On Track :D Keep it going! And take my motivational thumb for making a funny Linux prod. Let's show them that Linux intros can also be great! (If anything, making (competitive) Linux prods is more respectable imho, because everyone can use Crinkler, but writing your own compressing linker takes skill)

I chuckled, too. But yes, programmer art.

@NR4 actually I just used xz and I think everyone else also just uses xz, except for that one intro with HTTP brotli compression. Linux has the ability to prefix your program with a little shell script that calls a decompressor that's included with the OS.

also, this fits in 32k just by not having a lot of content. No special packing needed beyond xz, and it even still has error checks left in.
