I don't know what RISC-V is, but this doesn't make me want to find out either.

Around 23:00 on Friday at Revision, unlord approaches us with a RISC-V development board and the question if we could do something with it. Tired as we are, we spend an hour or so setting up a cross-compiler and go to bed. Arriving at the party fashionably late the next day, around 14:00 we begin learning RISC-V assembly to see if we could partycode something small (<512b) before the deadline. After prototyping some simple effects that turn out way too big, we end up settling on a custom RLE encoding of the RISC-V logo, maybe with some very simple effects to go with it. At 23:57 we hand this in at 492 bytes.

It's not great by any means and we won't make any illusions about that, but it was fun to partycode/pick up a new language under time pressure! More motivation to make something better next time. :)
