Pretracker 2?? Oh. My. God. 😍😍😍
Woah, sounds really great. And such a low memory footprint.
Want! <3

Awesome! ;-)
I would listen and look to it for hours! Great music and surprisingly addictive fx.
Sounds really faithful to the original. Interesting visual effect as well.
Great!
Yes! Sounds like the original, nice port to pretracker. And the effect is cool. Waiting for pretracker 2 impatiently. :)
That was fun, the tune sounds very much like the original. Well done!
Apart from the main news of this intro, I too liked the effect quite a bit.
I made a javascript version to see how it looks when the simulation runs faster, but I think our algorithms differ... your looks more interesting:

E.g. how do get disconnected islands? I don't get those..

Nice music and a great two-sided take on "Breakout"!
haha, I remembered something -- in '93, at Gathering, I was finishing our 40k and struggling to get the filesize below the limit. I remember being irritated with Interphace because I suspected he hadn't trimmed his samples as much as possible. I complained to him, but the arrogant bastard just told me to "write smaller code".. :) :)
But now look! <9kb on disk. What a time be alive :)

Looks and sounds delicious.
Very very nice for the size size size. But the Q is missing in the font. ;-)
Great !
@Pink : Will pretracker 2 be open source enough to make an Amos extension? Some musicians seem to want this :-)

Sounds great and hypnotizing effect. I kept watching waiting for one of the sides to win :)
JA!

Cool tune, interesting effect

Great
Lovely!
Cool!
great sound and nice breakout effect - very relaxing to watch
Excellent.
A bit long and repetitive.
You remixed one of my favourite tunes, good job.
Nice cracktro-styled prod with an arcade 8x8.
Sounds pretty close to the original, but ofcoz, there are some differencies.

Welll done !
some demoscene prods reduce the bitmaps to stay in size.
top effort. big love.

Pink and all Abyss group rules since 30 years!!
Nice one!
Impressive sound for a 8kb intro, clean design, and a fun effect to look at.
Really good one! Such a good tune! Looking forward to PreTracker 2!
awesome PreTracker 2 tune!!! Watched it for ages, saw all sorts of faces and shapes in the image (couple of little bugs in the collision system, but still made the patterns nice)
So original :)
So original :)
Just to add, I made a few things in the past that were organic, and unpredictable, just they never found their way into my (predictable) demos
@Dan:
You know, it's never too late to release cool routines ;).

I wanted to test the new synth for my upcoming 'Pretracker 2'. So I imported the great Protracker music from 'Lost in Legoland' by Interphace/Andromeda and tried to replicate the samples with the new stack synth. The music data takes around 9kb and the synth data around 600 bytes (unpacked).
