Great text mode demo! Or fake text mode demo...
Fake text mode or not, this was rather enjoyable. In many parts a bit too oldschool for my taste but it had a lot of nice effects and the direction was solid. Loved the little text writer flashes in the end :)

Wasn't particularly impressed by this, sorry. Textmode (or rendering with ascii dot characters) is losing its novelty value, and usefulness aside from raytracing, maybe. Liked the music, at least.

Very cheap, conceptually. Fake text mode, pong, "oldschool" etc. But it works very well for me. Good direction/pacing, swift music, some humor. Weak thumb, I guess. :)

Yeah, I suppose this one did stand out :).
Competent effort, but doesn't really bring anything new to the table (as far as textmode is concerned).
alltho this was nice to look at (and to listen to) the concept/rendering isnt exactly new and was seen in the TMDC over and over again and i wonder why this placed 2nd.

Well, displaying a torus, a cube and a cylinder, even in textmode it still remains a torus a cube and a cylinder. Hopefully, the music saves it.

- if you want to do textmode, submit at TMDC.
- if you want to do oldschool effects please do it on the real thing.
combining the above two things doesnt really make something original if you just submit to a PC DEMO compo

Looks a lot of fun actually make, so thumbs for that alone. A bit random what actually pops up on the screen though :)

Actually _does_ run well on my ultra portable notebook. (Well, the non-faketext scene is a bit choppy, but the rest is smooth.)
