Exactly what it says on the tin. Maybe even too massive, because what is there after this?

This will affect the demoscene.
this one was hella CRAZY!!!
Complete masterpiece. One of the all-time greats. World domination 2023 indeed.
The amount of work here is gigantic (but there's like 18 people involved) however it looks to me like a mishmash of several demos stapled together with heavy old c64 farts crowd pleasing references (the turn disks screens are very cool & funny, though).
A good amount of impressive FX, nice GFX and music, well done!
noice
Cool stuff
Lots of work here and really good graphics and music. Most of the parts are too long for my liking, though. I really enjoyed the "Insert Disk" screens though.
every day you use the c64 a pokemon dies!
What hitchhikr said. Massive amount of quality content, thumb can't point anywhere but up. That said, it was too random for my taste. Maybe this should have been split into 3 more cohesive demos instead. The humor and nostalgia references left me cold too, although the "100 moments" idea was neat.
Worthy winner! Thanks
what hitch and stingray said, the incoherence makes it OK, not great.
Leider Geil!
Best demo not only of 2023, heading to the hall of fame. Congratulations big time! Masters+++++
sorry, watched the YouTube until 9:30, then gave up. not my cup of tea.
That one was a blast! 100 Games inside and wonderful execution. Even if the eagle got the 4th diskside... it was awesome! ;) The first three entries could all win any other party easily... at the end they all were 11/10 points
So massive and fun. The checker board zoomer with layer inside, the floppy parts, with layer stuff, a lot of other things. 100 games was a bit long but ok. Lot's of cool stuff to remembner.
Another labour of love, this is really hard to distinguish from Wonderland XIV imo, same love, same rose tinted nostalgia glasses and absolutely jampacked with quality content. I just really love the c64 scene!
Crazy, crazy, crazy...
That 100 games thing is just insane !!! Any write up about the tech ?
what maali said.
Das kann man schon so machen. <3
A lot of great stuff.
Massive demo.
I met Mahoney on the day of the compo, which was really nice, and I wished him good luck. He replied (I paraphrase): 'Good luck? We don't care, we're just making what we like'.
What an utter beast of a demo this is. It's bold, bombastic, and very weird, with a thrilling disregard for uniformity in its design. At times I was laughing - quite pleasurably - in the hall during the compo, not because the demo is funny (though it is quite funny at times), but because of how outrageous some of the parts are. Amazing.

Truly next level shit. Profis machen das so!
Not 100% sure, but could it be, that you're completely out of your mind?
that side 2 was just my highlight from the democompo. insane.
100 moments part was my favourite. Would let that run in a loop on my office C64.
Good job! Was the games part done with modified emulator dumping memory (screen, sprite, positions, sound registers) and then something like LZSS player?
Next level all around, some really great looking effects in there. Still remembered 95% of the games after sooo many years. 2023 world domination!
Level, erm, thumb up
So much hard work and detail in here. Especially thinking of that 100 moments part! I wonder if some kind of game-recorder was made to accomplish this?
I liked that magic-filament twisting ribbons effect above the cloud/cauldron thing. Very elaborate disk-switching scenes as well.

Fantastic
This is without a doubt one of the most innovative demos ever made for the C64, if not the flagship demo. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to recognize all the games shown in it. In any case, it is a journey through time and should not be missing in any collection. :-)
Great and amazing, not easy to watch over and over though because of the length.
Nevertheless very cool to have 100 game action shots integrated!

By the way: This demo can also be watched as part in our livestream at 00:08:40 which also include a "Best of X2023 Demoparty" special part. :-)

Nice, but a bit too long!
fantastic .. great vibe and sweet nostalgia .. bubble bobble <3

insane!
Absolutely fantastic. Timeless and nostalgic at the same time.
lovely demo, I adore everything about it, 100 games - such a huge amount of work put into this, I also like faithless tune very much, thanks!
Really packed with great energy, absolutely love it <3
Nice
This was a lot! ;-)
amazing
When man and machine becomes one, it must be on the C64, and it must be in demos like this. Oozing fun and spirit from all pores.
In a way this reminds of Incoherent Nightmare, but here this reaches another level, everything comes together naturally, and it all makes sense.

Liked.
Wahnsinn!
For a while I've been thinking I should check out the latest for the C64. Well, started with this and oh my. Oh my oh my. This has everything. Well, everything except all those macho scroll texts we had back in the day, but that probably comes with the age :-)
Nice humor touches here and there like the C= balloon from the users manual sprite listing :-) And the medley of the old games, what an idea and implementation! This is maybe the first demo ever which would be so fun to look "at boy's night", too bad 'my boys' are 10 years younger than me and they wouldn't understand.
Oh man if someone had made this up in the 80's :-D :-D

Lots and lots of stuff.
Masterpiece.. I was was also totally blown away by the 100 parts games, never thought a second this could possible..
Mind blowing
Massive but waaaay too long and quite boring
Absolute Banger, so much to love!
Mahoney's 100 game part struck me as a meta modern take not often seen before like this on the c64. Never too late to have a happy childhood indeed.

happy on multiplevels, after watching the demo. <3
Mind blowing and definitely Next Level. I'm in awe of the coding abilities of these guys. Can't even fathom how they achieved some of this and especially in the memory constraints. Well done.
This is of course an absolutely fantastic demo!
For me the games-part doesn't work really well, though, because each reference is on the screen for only a few seconds and it doesn't create a proper flow. I also don't remember all of the games, so I'm probably simply not the audience. But it might have worked much nicer with a continous mix of the sounds.
Many other parts were super ace and I'm still laughing about "Assembly issues?" ;)

A triumph!
