Finally I could watch it on real CPC. Lovely demo, colors, layers and busy screens, variations, line to line volume detection ftw! Love the skulls, vertical stuff, multimode. I checked the HBL also with the GT65. Very well done. Ast and Kris, congrats!

Some nice screens in this one
Nice screens. Do you want to teach me some huge technics?
Good stuff that sadly I can't run on any of my CPC 64K/128K machines.
fun
Kickass CRTC effects! Especially the per-scanline wobble and the vertical split screen at the end.
I'm from 8088 PC/CGA land, but I believe that the CPC's "type 1" CRTC refers to UMC's UM6845R, right? Unfortunately very few CGA boards have those (and they're clones only) - would be cool to try and exploit that chip, but "we" can only count on type 2's (MC6845/HD6845R). :)

neato!
nice one
Nice little CPC production, could sadly not real the whole scroller in the capture however
...
Good job!!!
unexpected! it's clean and cute, nice work ;)
Nice improvement. Next time , put everything into 128kb ;)
What a lovely demo, full of nice little details and variations! Also, catchy tune.
I need to find the cheat code, now. ^^
Next: a CRTC 2 only demo? XD

Back in 90...The technique must serve the effect, not the contrary.
Nice effort to pack all these screens.
For non-CPC coders, a lot of CRTC hardware tricks are used here:
- multi-mode on the same line (writer screen),
- LAL (Line-to-Line Splitting),
- RVMB (Mult-Bloc Vertical Splitting),
- RVI (Invisible Vertical Splitting).
Happy to see a great mastery of it all. Nice variation on vertical raster (strang background!). An original music would have been welcome.
Impact is still here and shows a friendly team, with support and motivation. The road to follow. Congratulations to you guys!

What BDCIron and Hicks said!
That's very pleasant to see Impact steadily improve and giving much love to the scene.
Technically I don't see why 512k are needed.
So piggy I am.

Oh, that's basically what Beb said!
Good music, ok gfx, nice effects.
Very nice in the oldskoolish way!

Good mastery of the most advanced CRTC technics. I expect the same technics with more original or/and mathematical effects!
Rulez for a fast-made and one-man prod! With more polished design/gfx and in 128Kb, it would be a must-have in the CPC demo-library!

Nice to see a new CPC demo. Having done myself some multipart demos that fit in 128k, I wonder why the xmem is mandatory (but I completely don't care that it is).
I really like the self looping with variations.
I'm in a good mood today, so I will not piggy this prod for using a well known tune and for having quite disgusting patterns in the magic rasters.
