Incredibly slow on my GF4mx... I have the feeling it's running at the same resolution of my desktop (1280x960) and no, I am not going to change it :)

I experianced speed problems with my r9800 switching from 3.8 to 3.9 and 3.10 (early releases). I dropped from 200fps on the preview version to 50fps on the final. I guess those speed things are drivers issues and hardware ones for GF. I already noticed such problems while coding opengl application and switching from gf2 to gf4. The effects that required a lot of state changes were running a lot slower on Gf4... Anyway, it's more a driver and card problem than a code one... Who can tell he coded a state cache system for a simple demo or intro (as games do;).

The second this started up, I called my friend from the Amiga days and said he had to check it out. He and I are in agreement: this is one of the best party invites we've seen in years. Simplicity, shaking things down to the roots, seeing something like this really takes me back to the early 90's. Great work!
