This one's kinda minimal, but it has some interesting design ideas. I like it. I recommend watching it in high resolution (1024x768 or so).

Some GREAT ideas.. minimal style.. but boring :(
wireframes and vectors galore... true, there are some good ideas about this intro, like the fluid-like effects. Colors are nice too, the music could be better.
A couple of really neat ideas, even if they don't play well together. Still, it's something that people need to stare at a few times.

Hmm, err... This looks like a random collage of effects somebody wrote in Pascal in 1993. Except that it runs in hires and there's the odd bit of alpha blending and other accelerated gimmicks.. but even the music sounds like an average 93-94 intro :)
But I thought it's kind of cute anyway. For nostalgia at least... I can't believe they even had a spline wipe (or whatever those things were called) in there, it's been a looong time since I last saw one, not that I really missed it though :)

At least he didn't choose CGA colors, like hjb-hurt.. oh sorry, you praised that one! So according to these two comments: 32bpp good, 4 colors good, 16 colors bad. Got it. :)

when we want to use the full range of colors there are nowadays we make a "real" intro.
and don't compare this to hjb-hurt, the intros have nothing in common. neither in
colors, nor in overall appearance. it's like comparing an egg and an orange.
apart from that I wonder how you can judge an intro by the number
of colors. when you don't like it it's o.k., but basing this on the
number of colors is stupid.

Well, I actually liked this intro. I wouldn't say this was a design intro but it was nicely made in oldskool flavour... or something. :)
i liked it very much. no technical posing but very nice visual effects.
with a better tune, it might be a winner... some scenes are nice. the rest's pretty dull.
