At the time I had never seen anything like this, I was pretty amazed at the idea :)

it's a cool prod, but there's no way in hell this is from december 1993 tho... more like 95/96...

havoc... well textfile is from may 94... tbh 96 is definitely too late...

1) the textfile wasn't written by sentry, but by someone from hitnrun (probably sledge)
2) the disbanding of sentry mentioned in the textfile didn't take place until much later (just look at sentry releases..it was somewhere in 1995, only release after that is the symp96 release which was made by the apeldoorn section of sentry, not the breda guys)

Havoc: I definitly had this long before 1995.

I got this one ages after I have had the Sentry demo, both have a similar idea.

And now I checked my old BBS file archive; indeed Camera from Sentry, december 1993.. Even the PRG-file is dated then.

This one is from '93 and definitely done by the huy from Breda ;)

It was a test for a panning/rotation effect to simulate a camera moving through a landscape by using a highres image and showing it lowres. To improve visual quality, I used interlacing techniques.

The mod was done by Iso, and it was merely a test to be used as intro for a Falcon demo. Unfortunately I had to leave the scene earlier than planned. It was never officially released either. What you have here is a leaked intro :)

This effect was redone in a few hours over at the Symposium '96. Thymen had a 3D blob and combined with this camera effect, we created the Zhoongi '96Kb intro over night.

The Zhoongi intro won the 96kb compo, which is sad enough as I definitely hoped to see some real planned and quality Falcon work there.
