put a smile on my face :)
According to my research, this should have placed higher.
OCS .. what else ;)
Lovely.

I have a soft spot for this 1993/1994 style. Hope to see more from you guys!
Pretty nice OCS retro style demo
Short and sweet!
Good stuff!
Good effects,keep em coming!
Pleasant to watch.
My favourite from the compo, neat stuff!
nice.
Nice! Melts in your mouth.
felt the most complete amy prod from the compo and nice too.
I liked this very much, but them so called "coder colors" was not my cup tea though. =)
Perfectly captured '93-ish vibes
Lovely, my choice of winner and my favourite. Good work. :)
nice!
Olds'cool, surprisingly cool.
As I said to you before k.w.e, this is really nice stuff - keep it up!
easily the best of the compo. great style, scenes are not shown 2mins each, some actual effects and design, and ocs
neat (=
sweet! those samples remind me of some tune by pink :)
Some real A500-goodness. I think this one deserved first place to be honest.
I quite like it, nicely put together
Neatly styled fx in spot on colour scheme. I believe the filled sinewaves are the proof that you and Mr. Blitter came to terms on the fill issue, right ?
If the whole thing wouldn't be so short.
On another note I did find the tune a bit clanky.

clanky ain't useful
Out of tempo notes and sample loops just "kinda, sorta" matching up doesn't make a song "funky". And there's that cymbal sample. "Kloff". And some of the instruments being off-key. Hope that's useful.
The copper for the half framerate blue/red sine part causes modulo errors on a real A500. The compatibility otherwise seems fine!
Pulling off a bunch of standard effects juuust good enough to result in what would've been a fairly mediocre release back in 94, while it just feels a bit meaningless now.
That said, it's a complete package and in my opinion would've deserved the 2nd prize in the compo. (While the winner had even less fun effects it at least had something more interesting to watch thanks to the excellent pixel graphics).

k.w.e., calm down, pal and notice the thumb ;)
The note on "too short" was rather a compliment then a criticism. I would've loved to see some of the scenes for a few seconds longer. The tune, however, wasn't my cup of tea, personal taste, that is. From my watching perspective it just didn't flow all that well with the rather dynamic effects.
What's wrong with that ? I love doing these, nowadays called, "cracktros".
It has become a somewhat crew-tradition of showing a life sign, and they are supposed to be nothing else but small compo fillers.

You are releasing single-screen-intros

All the mod-playing routines I could find, I tried them all and there were problems in all of those "playing-attempts". What the reason is, well, it would be interesting to know.
What kind of problems? The most common bugs in about 90% of all "standard" replayers are:
- empty dbf loops for DMA wait
- byte write to volume register which causes problems on 68040/60
Some older replayers also use SMC to set the speed which can cause problems on fast machines too.
The first mentioned bug is responsible for samples not played back correctly but it can be easily fixed with a raster wait loop (or CIA if none of the CIA timers are used otherwise). The second problem can be easily fixed too but that should be obvious.
Music was weird, but lovely oldskool style demo. Nice!
Skipping samples: empty dbf loops for DMA wait as mentioned above.
Wrong speed: probably caused by using a standard vblank instead of CIA timed replay.
