Wheee!!! It's finally out. LOL that was the dream of making Goldrunner turn into a demo. You know more CRTC than me as I am always afraid to touch it lol, you are learning fast. On GX some things would be easier indeed. I read all the scroller and my eyes are yoyo.

Great! Looks like an Amiga or Atari-ST 16bit-game is running here. I don't own a real Amstrad CPC, so i watch this in WinApe emulator. Too bad, that the user can not set another fullscreen-resolution in this emu than this "800x600 - 60Hz" mode, which the emulator always seems to use. With a resolution running in 50hz, it would scroll perfectly smooth, so it would be much better. In window-mode of WinApe, i can do this, but apparently not in fullscreen. Really a missing option in this, otherwise very good, emulator.

Only got time to watch it today. Lovely little piece of demo. And yes I had to stand back for 2 meters not to focus on the blurry text :). Im looking forward to do some CPC coding, but it wont be this year just yet...

Pfew, I realize I completely forgot how nice it was to read a scroller. ;-)
Amstrad GX-4000/Plus platform itself is interesting and clearly lacks content (prods) so I was super happy to watch what you did.
