Some really nice scenes, but a bit too long winded in my opinion.
So many things in this prod! Powerfull code, astonishing constructed-deconstructed 3d scenes and beautifull environments auround (the short city flyby!). Special thumb up for the music. Wow, that's a winner prod! Gr8 gr8 work!
Awesome GFX! But time to time it was a bit boring.
What a trip!!!! Great Stuff!
good suprise from BP... very nice scenes .. some lesser quality stuff from time to time but who cares ... a nice demo made with style
Some scenes are really cool, some just "ok". This demo should be shorter but better.
Very cool, but you really have to understand the lyrics to fully appreciate the graphics!
my favorite fromm the compo. i instantly fell in love with zyprexa last year, and this one is even x times better. great dnb soundtrack, great visuals.
interesting. was a lot better than the most of the others.
Really like this one. Sometimes the scenes don't flow extremely well, but overall it gives a nice feeling. It's filled with FX we've seen before but too seldom (puff ball, shader water) and some nice sync. Love the surprising transition to the last graphic. Nice!
MASSIVE!
gr8
Good work, was one of the best shown at the compo. What about choosing the language of the slogans before the demo starts? Would be no bad Idee I think. 8)

With a little tweaking and shortening, this could've been excellent. It's not bad now either, but shows much more potential..
Piggy. Some scenes and objects could be much better.
really sweet design!
nice indeed.. could be improved a little definitely, but this is great stuff even so. Some beautiful scenes in there. I've seen the lyrics in some other demo i remember.. must dig that one out, i remember that was good too.
A lot of real good looking scenes and effect, another one of my favorites!
Sweet, but a bit boring (expecially after 27 demos, if you were at the party you know what I mean) :D
Interesting, however, why the loading time of 1+ minute ?
The greetings scene ruled !
The greetings scene ruled !
mad: an english version would be cool :>
rulez! where to get the music? :D
+ nice music
+ some good looking scenes
- lots of bad looking scenes
- bratwurst language ;)
- bad dialog coding:

respect guys for the vast graphic design improvement. zyprexa - despite its strong points - felt incoherent in this very aspect. the graphics here are superior not only to previous bauknecht/lkcc prods, but they are highly remarkable in the context of demos released in recent years. great color schemes used, stylish 3d objects design.
ok, i won't say everything is superb and also some less obvious recycling of zyprexa could've been taken. especially because the new effects feel very fresh and original, note for example the credits. in the end, it has an interesting, deep touch. music is nice, though sire did it with more 'balls' in zyprexa in my opinion.
looking forward to the final.

No bad. :) okay, then this is ..... :)
Cool!

hooray!
this one was really one of the highlights in the compo.

i like this. especially nero pictures =D
Nice, really liked it on the bigscreen.
crashed
Lots of good and some bad stuff in it. Still very, very much <3
incoherent scenes, but every scene is very nice
piggie
piggie
quite a clean output but lots of incoherent stuff. thus a piggie.
the best of all BP 2005 demos. Power massive rendering with many many good designed abstract scenes featuring good music.
Deserves to win the democompo.

rocks
schweeeeeeet
Watched it again and now that I'm not drunk, and with my pitiful German, I can actually almost understand what it says.
I love this demo. I love love love it. The visuals have a deep sense of suddenness and an edge, the music fits like a glove and the composition of some scenes is unlike I've never seen before in a demo. Also, the 2d graphics are awesome.

Best style of all bp05 demos, definitely. The DnB soundtrack rocks, and those scenes just make you long for more on every cut. Not a single second boring, this is how demos should be.
Bauknecht always submitted interesting but somewhat strange demos at every easter, but this time you managed to make a demo which really touched me. I even liked the breakbeat tune - keep on with the good work!
Somewhat incoherent at times, but still damn stylish and good fitting music.
my fav at bp.
a kick ass prod this one really rocked
very nice mix of 3d and 2d effect, cool music!
must agree with dipswitch. Very well designed
piece of a demo
piece of a demo
cool
nice design
final runs on my box now. also it rulz0rz!
die erde gründet, wankt nicht mehr!
my absolute favourite bp-prod. respect!
my absolute favourite bp-prod. respect!
Some good scenes :)
again: this production is so massive, should have won! i love it!!
after watching it several times just to enjoy the music, i looked at the lyrics a little closer and found that there is actually a lot of sense in them and that the whole composition of the demo just fits perfectly. amazing. a demo that gets better the more i watch it. and i now hope i'll never have to take zyprexa. =)
Hmm... I don't care for this as much as everyone else. The 2D was extra cool, but I found the music drab and none of the effects caught my attention.
nice.
the demo somehow fails for me as a whole // still, it got some incredible moments, in particular the water scenes kixx! // as about soundtrack, just another one of these pretentious d'n'b tunes of the demoscene -- and i'm not sure if i'm glad for those, who doesn't hear a difference //
in any case, there's enough of visual beauty to thumb it up!
raver: i wish "real" dnb would be more like the tune in there. and the lyrics are still what makes this demo unique.
krill:: i cant read the poetry but speaking of tune -- its like jerky rasterbar, u know?:) // once you're deep enough into sound, it makes a big difference..
kuhl
geman version doesn't work in the final?
final version gives still me "IniFile::loadIniFile - file not found:demo" when ran from totalcmd - someone should really check for spaces in the directory name hm? ;)
otherwise it dies out with a lovely "FailedToInitialize static VertexBuffer" errorbox. yes i disabled stencil.
ideas?

raver, sure this is probably not vinyl-worthy, but i'm really glad for every dnb thingie that comes around in this oh-so-idm'ish community, especially when it not totally sucks.
crashes - radeon9700 mobile, intel centrino 1.4, winxp, 512mb ram.
smashes ass!
any chance for a video? i'd love to see that one again but i'm stranded here with a 64mb ram p500 laptop...
2nd link now points to the final
design
great demo - final is even better! Keep it up!
one word: wow!
every time I thought this was going to get boring, it surprised me, so rules
Nice prod, well designed and with some new things. I liked it, however usually I prefer a bit 'faster' demos :)
simply kickass!
Super-smooth design.
Keep on.
Cheers
Keep on.
Cheers
I like this a lot.
This demo is absolute phat... my respect...
as I see, I really forgot to vote: well here it is... if you like demos.. add this one to your collection!
Very cool demo, inconsistent but good.
.
good composition, amazing effects and colors with a decent dnb track. i'm curious to see how this will perform at scene.org awards, but it's definitely on my personal top list of demos 2005.
to many scenes but most of them consisted fancy polygons only. precalculated metaballs suck, greetings rock. nice music also.
wow. This is jam-packed with effect after effect. it does seem to go on and on a little, but the visual style is very interesting; with some very cool 2D mixed in nicely. Sountrack isn't uberspecial, but it still sounds very good, and fits. a keeper.
crashed on r9600xt, p4 and 1gb ram
win xpsp2, catalyst 6.1
win xpsp2, catalyst 6.1
Having just revisited this one, my comments :
Luck of any stylistic coherence. It is just an 'object' fest, even worst, those objects are uninteresting, full of intersecting polygons.
Colorstyle all over the place. There is one scene that is (255,0,0) red, the next one is (255,255,0) yellow etc.
People say 'there are effects after effects'. Where ? I saw some nice 'water' and the token metaballs with something that looked like token 'emboss' mapping. Uninteresting, put in the middle of a skybox, and overlaid with a post-processing effect.
Speaking of which, why the heavy use of that ugly 'Knights' Storm'-type radial blur filter. It is aliased as hell and you can spot the 15-odd layers from miles.
So can you spot the JPEG artifacts on the (many, and I would say nicely drawn) pictures.
It is also slow, getting something like 25-odd fps on a 9600XT. The framerate seems to go up and down depending on use of 'filtering' or context - not a good thing.
All in all, I think they could keep some of the nice scenes (like that one with the water for example) and throw away about 50% of the others. I liked the music, for the first 3 minutes it was interesting. Then.. sort of looped.
I'll leave the piggie, as this 'could' have been a piggie/rules demo.
From Bauknecht comes a demo that varies between feelings of bathing in bright sunlight in perfect
happiness and in a peaceful place with a serene state of mind. Their design is very clean, nuskoolish.
Pure colours and simple geometric shapes are utilized to great effect. The soundtrack stomps on steadily
and at a fairly fast pace, machine-like but without any disruptiveness adding a sense of technological
sophistication.
And it all makes perfectly sense when you read the message they are delivering, it seems
to be a celebration of modern medicine's efforts against mental illnesses and a portrayal of the effects
of drugs on a disturbed mind. Trocken leaves a lasting impression by it's sheer beauty and freshness,
it's visual qualities perfectly represent the statement it chooses to issue. That is really as much as
anyone can ask from art: delight to behold and thoughtful.

Oh well, that'll teach me not to cut'n'paste from notepad. Funny, it didn't show up that way in the textfield before submit.
A batch of fairly random scenes. Some of those are pretty good though.
This is by faaar the best Bauknecht demo so far.
And generally one of the best demos in the past years:
Great atmosphere and style. Massive pictures by Nero, nice architectural stuff by pixtur.
Codewise it could be improved a little, but what the hell..

where to get the final?
The tune rocks. One of my favourite demos.
what tomæs said
grrrr....
i like it
mad: i came by here again. this is definitely not the demo i commented earlier. i, by mistake, commented a demo that featured static metaballs, yours are way cooler but it had better greetings :) though the vote still applies. sorry to piss you (;
just one word: S ■ T ■ Y ■ L ■ E
very cool to watch, some boring parts but cool demo afterall.
Laserharp! \o/
there is better, but still is a good one
now works fine on catalyst 7.3

especially liked the pink folding thing
this was absolutely brilliant, visually and musically :) deep.
Cool demo. Some transitions feel strange.
Bauknecht weiß was ich mir wünsche.
love it. thanks fo good work.
stylish!
some interesting scenes/compositions with annoying music :>. and i suppose sync and direction is here.
Very nice
i just have to thumb this once more so that no one forgets that this is one of the best demos ever. just watched it again, and i just haven't got any words. this is simply brilliant stuff people. <3
Rulez !
ich dachte ich hätte das geuppt.
Was Paniq gesagt hat.
epic
What griip said, only that it's 3.5 years later now and still massive. Just watched it again, and the finish still gives me goosebumps.
Forgotten thumb up
Excellent demo, with the best end part I've ever seen!
For some reason I love the german version a lot more, alone for using obsolete words. How these words are then used to describe what's going on behind them is just amazing, or where the scene there before and the text added later? I'll never know :)
badly produced music, messy visuals.
Classic!
a bit messy and the music is not really my cup but overall i just can't give it a piggie.
saw it for the first time....love the style, though music is a bit too hectic for me...all in all great stuff
Super!!!!!!!!!!!
Still rulez.
Too long and uneven, but has its great moments. For example the fortress by the water was a good touch.
has powerful moments
I wish the clown pic was more contrasted
