Going for that pop culture/retro-gaming vote in such a blatant fashion is somewhat disgusting. But: It's very well done and the competition could not deliver the goods. So there. Still no thumb just yet. ;)

Some quite well made and good looking parts, but a lot of ugly boring filler. Also, the retro gaming chic thing is so old and tired, especially with done-to-death stuff like Mario and Space Invaders.
this was great content wise and I especially loved that blowing into the cartridge scene. On the other hand animation wise there were many areas for improvement (e.g. look at the pinball scene) which made quite evident that this short was an amateur production. Nevertheless I'm sure it was pretty much work and the concept sure worked in a crowd pleaserish kind of way ;)

Mixes each and every retro-cliche, does have a few nice ideas, then spoils them by throwing in some pointless gap-fillers and ends up feeling unbalanced.
Which is sad, because it's obvious that a lot of effort has gone into this.
