Awesome demo all around! This really saved the competition, and it sure is nice to see a demo that lives upto the "next gen" label.

This one had what all other entries in the compo were missing: a great tune, cute effects and nice pacing. Therefore: thumb up!

There was some really nice stuff in this (the tree thing for example) but overall this was more of a random selection of scenes than a coherent demo. Don't get me wrong, I don't want everything to have ASD-class transitions (hell, fairlight's Media Error may be my favourite demo) but this just didn't hold together well.

Well, seems to have nice particle flow and physics simulation also rendered smoothly.
But really could have been much better with some solid story going hand in hand with the good visuals.
Bonus points for running on geforce 7800 mobile in addition to the 8 & 9 nVidia series mentioned in the info.

The tree that looked like it was made up of blood vessels was one of the few memorable moments from the pc demo compo imo, so that's worth something.

Go home and do your maths! A 3d sphere is NOT a circle after projection to the screen, unless ofcourse you do isometric projection.

After seeing it for a second time in realtime, I must say that this doesn't deserve the first place. It's just cubes with hdr dof and glow, as pera said. Most of the scenes don't even look very good.
The fluidsim-tree was awesome, the rest was meh. Didn't like the music at all.

too incoherent. The model with the pregnant woman had the biggest mamary glands ever seen on a demo. And lots of cubes again, god aren't you all tired of cubes.

it works very well not only on nvidia cards. i sucessfully launched it on ATI hd3650 mobile.

It has a few nice scenes, but it features far too many cubes and it's all so sterile.
Balls are touching and that's not the only gay thing about this demo. Sorry, but the countless cliches really didn't work for me.

Looks like the physics runs on the GPU, so kudos for that. It's strange that in Into The Pink I didn't notice that the "gorgeous" HDR cubemaps were shot in someone's back yard but here they're presented with all the subtlety of a broken bottle of WKD Blue to the face. What I'm saying is the art sucked.

You know my opinion (amiscena.org). Some effects are great (blood, fluid, disco ball) but the whole demo lacks dynamics, sync and is incoherent.
Some really good effects, but also some pretty cheesy stuff (pregnant robot women, wtf?). The parts did not really fit together in my head, but it managed to seem like a single deom when I was done watching it.

Most of it was very very VERY incoherent, but nice looking. Some object movement and most camera movement could use some work.
On the other hand, the effect in the screenshot was gorgeous, and the tree scene was utterly perfect (the negative comments I said earlier didn't apply to this part) - really, flawless.

i loved the cool look of the eyes of the "pregnant" standing models. the music is hmm ok a little bit cheesy but i enjoyed watching your production on the bigscreen. thumb up.

the music does not fit the demo. i suggest you use something like a willbe soundtrack next time. watch cocoon demos and you'll understand what i mean.

maq's physics made this demo cool, with a bit of coloristic consistence and composition, but I agree with Smash.. not design here you'd expect from so experienced team. Thumb for the final demo that defined Mr. Acryl's "demography"
