according to edward teller we are not responsible for what we did ;) and as a matter of fact 5/7 of the creators didn´t see this demo until it was shown on the beam :)
not really original, but still great. in fact, i enjoyed this one more than candytron.
pretty ugly, actually. oh, and I don't know if this was intentional or not, but every 10th frame or so a frame got rendered 50 pixels lower than it should've been. or something. I don't even care. :)
I like the soundtrack and the strategic overuse of glare.

-the "official" release of this will (of course) be called fr-minus-07. the story in the readme is actually true, i just didn't have the time anymore to change the title image :)
-this was only entered at all because xxx repeatedly asked us to release some demo (because they had so few quality releases. i don't think this comes even near a quality release, but xxx and poti thought otherwise :)
-a proper version under the name of fr-032 (this time really :) will be done within the next 2 years. whenever we have time
-there is actually a concept behind this demo, but as 3:30 of the 4 minutes of this demo were done from scratch between the official democompo deadline and the actual compo, it's not hard to guess what happened to it.

I like this more than Candytron. Mostly because of the music... though I was expecting more variation/melody later on in the demo.
Perhaps if you could split up Teller's bio into segments shown throughout the demo, and get rid of the ugly green blobular things it would be cool.
And I would prefer it if it didn't crash my computer.

Awesome music. Ugly overall design. That doesn't mean the 2D Backgrounds are lame, it's more like that the 3D Objekts are uninteresting and the overall Demo is too empty.

i like this kind of thematic demo ! And most of the effects are really nice (the submarine scene is sexy!) especially since they were apparently made during the party :)

As a fast demo it's ok, nothing more to say.
i don't get it, really...farb-rausch not releasing a colerful demo with some new and exciting effects and so many people thumb this one down. ok, it could've been more exciting in some scenes (especially the one with the submarine), but i liked the idea of seeing some thematical demo by fr which was realised in a ver nice, dark mood. besides that, the soundtrack kicks ass!!! good work imho, more like that!

I have to say I did really like the misty looking scene with the pink object and yellowy background. That looked so sweet and would make a beautiful theme for a future demo.
As for the rest, I'm sorry, but I thought it was all very horrid! But at least I can take consolation knowing it's not intended to be taken too seriously.

The Edward Teller silliness makes a great theme for a demo, but I feel it wasn't used to full potential manily due to "party coding," or whatever you want to call it.
kb: Why not using an external file in the demo? Would save me time to download it twice... :)
Great music, boring demo -> pig.
I love the soundtrack, so much so that I'd love to remix it. German accent on the vocals really give it an edge.

For the music. One of the best DNB pieces released on the scene ever. I dislike the vocal, and instead of going over the edge with noisy drums, and reverbs. It would be good for the tune with some more low freq's. The tb clone thingie is sweet ass. And the beats are sharp as a razor blade (untill the "blurry drums part"). I cant watch the demo for some reason. but i dont care, coz i have the tune. Now please make a remix/remake of it, or allow other skilled scene artists to do so. And make it the tune, what it could be. A classic. rather than "just" a good tune.
It doesn't suck, it's not a minus-release, it's a party-prod and it's one of these prods, where I don't ask, whether there are bugs in the demo or whether this is mentioned to be there. Below fr-average, but a good production anyway.
After watching the demo I thought the music totally sucks, then I happened to listen the ogg file alone and noticed it was just the playback that got fucked up totally. In the demo the music stuttered randomly here and there, skipping one second back like an old vinyl.

While the production visually seems a bit rushed, the soundtrack is absolutely outstanding - one of my favourites that never gets old. Paniq's brutal soundtrack and KBs awesome vocal performance nails an immersive aesthetic that has stood the test of time. Love it.
