Didn't know this hardware, but watched the youtube video, it's quite cool
phet
Excellent - has all the things I like in a demo: Obscure 80ies 8-bit platform, cool effects nicely integrated with some awesome graphics!
what sdw said!
Really cool stuff in all departments!
aweseome in all aspects - style, gfx, pacing, music! Interesting machine as well :)
Beautiful work here, kudos. Enjoyed the music style, superb pixeling, and those effects, man those twisters were sexy, I don't know coderwise what the effect after the twisters is, that metablob thingy? But it looks amazing! Awesome!
Nice FXs!
This rules in so many ways. Even the HW (a norse school computer ffs) looks fucking cool.
@keito: My guess is that the metabob thingy kinda bases on a basic twister routine, but cleverly used (line lookup).

Yeah
It's literally the best Tiki demo ever! Good pacing, nice effects.
I like how the compo machine literally caught fire... Must be some really optimal inner loops in the code!
Supernice!
Much obscure, strong demo, many codings!
First of all! Regardless of the the platform, this is a very enjoyable and well crafted demo! Now, on a 1984 machine, this is an awesome demo. The Tiki seems to have been a bit ahead of its time, quite neat hardware for its time!
That's really nice, lots of varied screens!
And the remix part in the music is blastingly cool. :D

Soundtrack Medley vote!
Good show!
Great stuff, can't wait for the writeup. I'm genuinely curious about a few of the effects.
really cool work
Last Tiki Ninja rulez !
RIP the Tiki-100 which died running this prod on Solskogen ⚰️
Thanks for a fantastic demo, and thanks for keeping the Tiki-100 scene alive.

RULEZ!!
Platform + fantastic graphics + the metaball FX = big thumb up for me !
Great music, nice graphics, good effects. What's not to like?
awesome for such rare platform! :)
Wondering if its possible to run this on Djupdal's TIKI-100 Emulator. Cannot get it to work.

No, Djupdal's emulator doesn't emulate the required hotwiering required to get interrupts on video-sync. On the other hand, Neon has developed his own emulator that implements the extra wiering.
Woah this blew me away. Remembering Tiki-100 from highschool I would never imagine one could do these kind of effects on it. This time around not only scanline effects, but also LUTs and 3d scenes. Also + metal points for burning on stage!
Brilliant stuff!
Worth adding a link to a video of what I believed to be the peak graphics capabilities of this machine :

Superb oldschool demo on a platform I hadn't even heard of before. Cheers!
Awesome!
Beautiful! <3
Not sure what the Tiki was intended to do. But I'm pretty sure it wasn't this :-)
nice show
Compo machine is alive again, and running the demo like a champ! It only took a new powersupply and replacing a few chips on the motherboard.
Simply OSSOM demo! \o/
wtf this is amazing
Not your run-of-the-mill typical cheap Z80 platform Hw features wise, but the release is nevertheless OSSOM!
Cool demo
Big kudos for this demo. First I also had no idea about this computer. Secondly great effects and design considering retro platform and last but not least it has hollow in its name ]:->
Anyway, I read about this computer after watching, is it Z80 or 8080 demo?

Not bad. :)
for some fx and for the platform
Supercool!
!!!
No idea of the HW but seems to be able to produce some cool stuff :) Last Ninja tribute in music :)
Well done! :) Another really impressive production for a machine I remember very well from school (and a friend's house) and considered to be inferior to my Commodore 64 by a good margin. ;) Now the Tiki-100 has finally gotten the attention and recognition it deserved. Wouldn't it be great if some of the original creators of the computer at Tiki-Data AS could see this?
By the way, I know there are no raster interrupts on the stock Tiki-100, but do you have any other indications that you are outside the screen area, horizontal or vertical?

Totally awesome guys! Those three twisters, were they perhaps inspired by my Amiga 1200 boot block twister in "Let's twist again" or a mere coincidence? :)
How great that one of the original creators has seen the demo. :)
By the way, I asked the webmaster here if it would be possible to create a Tiki-100 category, but the answer was that there is a 10 production minimum to be considered. So, keep up the good work! ;)

great
nice
Awesome effect show <3 great music by Response, too
The demoscene hasnt touched every old computer yet with a SPLENDID demo!
Congratz to all involved!

Don't know the hardware, but this demo is enjoyable!
Wonderful work. Thanks for this!
At first I thought iw was a video-wild. THen the gfx was too pixeled, and then the effects were too "coded-wise" to be still a video-demo.
Great demo. I was really pleased to see a mix of 8bit sound (some Last ninja notes here and there?) and gfx with an almost 16bit code.
Cool prod for a great party! Great work dudes!
Tussen takk!

My own emulator runs the demo of course
Very impressive and a joy to watch, too - what Slummy said!
Nice demo on a Tiki-100 saw it now for the first time on Solskogen Online this year
I liked it very much, esp. knowing it is an old trusty Z80 under the bonnet. This seems to be one of the more graphics-rich platforms based on the basis of Z80, so it is fun to see it being capable of all this Amiga-like visuals. Your work is definitely an inspiration.
Really pleasant to watch and impressive for an 8 bit demo
<3 Really really nice!
