Everyone knows Zebetites can be bypassed by using Ice Beam or Speed Booster, which is why it placed third. :p

Fantastic!
I do like the floor effect, but the audio was physically painful, and there was no spatial coherence between the effects - the particle effect just seemed to move in an entirely different volume than the floor so I never got a sense where I am.
the beauty of the ground saves it from thumbs down because it is almost completely ruined by the music.

As many have already said, the texture, colors and lighting are cool.
But unfortunately it's not going anywhere and keeps being basically the same for the entire intro.
Music is fine and it could work with more things happening on screen and with better sync.
