That demo really kick my butt ! It's my favourite from Sunflower.
It's a really beautifull digital trip, and the music is soooooooooooo cool :)

Sunflower's best, in my opinion. An audiovisual masterpiece, everything fits together perfectly; the soundtrack by radix and lluvia, the graphics by saffron and yoghurt's code.

Wasn't too big on it at first, but after watching it in a demo set following Chrome/Damage and Volatile/Addict, I was smitten. So for best results, mix it in with some other layered, non-hardcore demos. Good music too, of course.

hmmm... seem like I forgot the "rulez" in the last comment.... a shame, 'cause this is truly a rocking demo...

i only started to like it after i watched tesla several times. i still don't quite like the music in some parts, which is the only drawback i can find. rest is perfect sunflowerstyle.

Tesla is brighting proof that also in win32 good demostuff could be done. relatively simple but fast accelerated effects sparkle in our eyes and we dont find it obsolete or simple at all. it's so nice and worm and the music is so positive that we nearly cannot believe it's possible. downright a A-stuff!

Simple effects? Well, it maybe doesn't look like it, but this demo actually features quite great (and certainly nontrivial) code.

The rulez is for the perfect, chilly ambient this prod has - start this any time of day, relax and feel good.

Alot better than Wonder IMHO, but it looks similar, so people didn't appreciate this prod as they should have.

yeah, I too think this one is better then Wonder, but Wonder was there first, so..

makes me dreaming each time i watch it. simply the best.

Make no mistake about it, this is a well put together demo. But the style just didn't do anything for me. It was fine to watch once due to very polished look, but the atmosphere left me feeling cold.

if i think about this one with pure logic, it has all the elements of a typical 13-in-a-dozen-demo which could make me puke, not to mention the horrible muzak playing in the background. yet still it manages to be somewhat beautiful. just as lure said, "makes me dreaming". saffron is probably the one to blame on this, or the fact that it has enough graphical layers in it to make it almost noise in some parts :)

(now the fact that i'm giving thumbs up for something with a morphing 3d-face on it makes me feel myself DIRTY)

Every time I watch Tesla I like it more and more. All the elements here are near perfect on their own - the demo itself manages to be perfect. Best demo ever made.

My favorite demo from Sunflower... really soothing thanks to the amazing Radix+Lluvia soundtrack, as well as the rock-solid and consistent design/code found throughout. Beautiful ending, too... the images definitely stay with you long after the demo is over. Top-notch work.

top ambient prod... I wish saffrons gfx was emphasized a little more though.. definetly one of the better tunes coming from the demoscene! radix rulez (and illuvia too)

the excessive layering and blending sometimes hides the effects away a bit too much, but I guess that's just sunflower-style. and showing off fill-rate was still cool back in '00.

This one was mind-melting!

There comes a time in the Demoscene world where you can actually turn the pages back a few years and find a Classic Demo that can really touch your soul.

It sounds like a stream of tears. But tears of beauty and wonder and joy. The simplicity of it gives it that mood. It is unstressed and SO relaxing to both watch and listen to.

Additive blending, Z-Layers galore and this damn lovely tune - after thirteen years this is still highly enjoyable - a-fucking-mazing!

Just a wonderful Chillout Style, i always love to rewatch that one from time to time. Only these days a bit tricky to watch under windows, without vsync some scenes are too fast and look destroyed.

Anyway, i really wished i could give a second thumb up for that one. Very Beautiful one :)

More collected than the masterpiece that is energia, but less impactful too. Suffers from the common syndrome at the time where people really didn't know how to approach demomaking under the new accelerated platforms, but manages to pull out some wonderful stunts regardless. I particularly love the star-like thing in the beginning. Of course some of the screens are absolutely heinous, but can be ignored once you tune into the proper chillout frequency. Fantastic music of course too.

Found it somewhat appealing to watch on a modern high-framerate, high resolution monitor. (Only suffered from color quantization at times)

Great music that turned out hard to be fully synchornized with visuals - not to allow them to flow on the side.

Soundtrack still kicks after almost 20 years but apart from that, it's one of those demos that aged really badly Blurry and undefined visuals with horrible colours just burn my eyes :(

this never ran on my machine at the time, and now 21 years later i finally got to watch it. nice! :D

typical Yoghurt, but on steroids received from the GPU. Clasical tunnels and plane transformations, motion blur. Particles influenced by Unreal's 73secs way of doing it. overused fascination of multi texturing, similarly like in Wonder and finally a proof point that "I can also do the Noon's face effect from an old DOS demo. Great use of talented artists who backed up the project audio-visually but at the end.. very boring and dated these days.. but fuck, it rocked back in the time, beyond comprehension so thumb up stays of course!

Those spin zoom multi texture effects blew my mind back then. Love that we can now read the source code.

18 years later its not boring anymore. It's beautiful.
