Liked the music a lot and the visuals were stunning. Cool to see OpenRNDR actually winning prices now. Well deserved. Lasers are my corebusiness so I loved this! Timing, sync and distortion-effects/cuts are very well executed. Should have ranked higher.
@Pandur / Evoke Crew: So yeah I've got two 3000mw RGB ILDA lasers and a Pangolin Beyond license (amongst others) that I use for gigs. If you think that could help we should talk? :)

Very nice invite, dig the style, awesome soundtrack, good flow, and I really enjoyed those laser/neon style Korean typography line/vector effects with distortion etc, looked cool as fk!

Perfect execution of this laser style! That horizontal distortion looks like someone put a magnet near a CRT. Much better than the usual random horizontal shifts in use in most demos (which usually just make the effect underneath look ugly)

What everyone else said. Should have won, dunno what's wrong with the voters. This is the only demo from the whole competition that makes you want to download executable and watch it in realtime/see how it's done.

I think Pouet's Java platform tag should be removed from this demo. Yes, it is programmed in Kotlin and runs on a JVM. However, the JVM is bundled in the demo distribution and this distribution only works on Windows. Someone who runs this demo just gets to click on an .exe, and as is the case with any other Windows demo, nobody has to worry about installing a Java environment.
My guess is that Pouet's Java platform was made with Java Applets in mind and the kind of demo that would from a .jar file using a system provided JVM. This demo is neither of those.
An analogy can maybe be found in the .NET CLR, afaik Pouet does not recognize that as a platform, and imo it shouldn't.

Beautiful, minimal and very creative. An audiovisual experience! That's how a demo should be like! As others said, votes on demo parties are often unfortunate because this demo should have won. My humblest apologies.

I left in the controls that were used while writing this demo. As a result you can use the 'a' and 's' keys to adjust the playback speed, and the left and right arrow keys to skip through the demo.

By far my favorite in the compo along with JvB and ronny's demo. Such clean and inventive visuals and the soundtrack is one of the most interesting pieces of music I've heard in Demoscene in several years. I would lament about it being another invitation, but having it typeset in Hangul actually helps a lot haha. Never stop.
