Nice demo. Don`t understand why it came only on 10th place in the competition, it would have earned a better placement.
Loved the bobs a lot, the tune is great. I'll run it again on the real thing, feel good.
I quite liked this one but the competition was fierce this year.
Those bobs, are they HAM bobs? Don’t think I saw that before. Also the tunnel moves really smoothly compared to its texture resolution. Seems like some subtexel scroll with shifted tunnel table increments underneath.
Has design, flow, great music and bobs .... nothing more needed. Great stuff

I can't understand how this didn't end up way higher in the ranking. There's a serious display of coding chops going on here. Great prod!
@bifat: Colour me intrigued! What kind of OCS trickery is used in this production that is too slow on AGA? It would be super cool with some info on the tech particulars in this demo. I suspect there's a lot more to it than meets my non-coder eye.

I don't really have an opinion of this one way or the other, but "Future of Limits" is a hilarious name.
Although the name is generated with our demoname generator, we picked it deliberately and it has a meaning that we tried to carve out a bit at least. Photon seems to be on track. There's an update available at the link above, it should look correct on AGA now, but on AGA the framerate breaks down for a short while.
Definitely my favourite from the compo by far. Nice subtexel tube and the Ham-Balls are yummy.
It got lost in the compo, but there is some really nice stuff going on in here.
This demo should have been higher in the ranking. very good code work here.

Nice to see groups as old as my grandpa still producing new demos, but this one shows no surprise. Unfortunately. I liked the soundtrack, smells like childhood.

Cornerstones of this production were higher resolution, subpixel, I finally got saturation working with blitter shading, and I did the kind of vectorballs I always wanted to do. I do not fully understand the AGA issue either. In theory AGA should have more than enough bandwidth to make up for the need to emulate the screenmode in question, but in practice it does not, not even on an 68030. I suspected the many interrupts to be the cause, but the slowdown also appears on the emulated combination of AGA and a 68000 CPU.

Seems a little fast for a 68000 ... which CPU did you run this on?
Try to underclock your 68000 to get the framerate right.
