Hehe... balls for the win :)
Splendid. Good variation and good execution
Javascript? Bite me! That was so coooollL!
Nice!!
This is amazing!
My favorite 4k!
Just a big wooooow for the physics and rendering quality :-)
Incredible really good graphics. It's a PBR shading with path tracing/distance functions? I love the roughness and emissive illumination.
what Kuemmel said
Niiiice
Boooom!
Full of sexy reflections!
My favorite from the compo. Incredible quality.
I enjoyed it the most.
Really liked this one on the big screen. Physics simulation on the web in 4k, super good!
Balls!
Awesome. Next step: repeat in an elevator for the animation/wild :)
Absolutely ace!
huh
Totally great, deserved winner!
Excellent job! Really polished (pun intended) :D
Excellent!
I would have been impressed enough without real-time physics!
sweet
RTX on! <3
Shiny balls blowing my socks off
Very stylish tech demo! I mean intro. :D I enjoyed it.
Woo woo! Very nice physics and tracing.
that this is .js is blasphemy in both ways :D
Amazing!
wow
just wow
just wow
Coder pr0n.
Great variation.
Lovely play with the light.
Wow, love this!
perfect.
Excellent lighting
balls touching ftw
Great balls you got there.
Fantastic lighting and physics! Love that it's web based!
mesmerizing
Manages to show the first scene for a few seconds, then crashes (music continues playing, though) with:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot convert undefined or null to object
at R (eval at onload (VM13 hbc-00017-newton_protocol.html:1), <anonymous>:1:8628)
Anyways, the insane aliasing in the first scene sort of killed it for me (I watched the capture).

very nice looking 4k
Very nice!
Hell yes this is nice. Technically impressive and a strong atmosphere to boot.
Very impressive!
Good-looking Browser Balls (tm)
Cool tech demo
teh shit!
Well done guys
Amazing stuff in 4k & browser!
So pretty, I'm all for shiny physics spheres..
- So what do you need? Besides a miracle!
- BALLS! Lotsa BALLS!
- BALLS! Lotsa BALLS!
Because I like physic.
glossy surface!!
Thanks for demonstrating that the bilateral blur can actually look good, maybe I'll try it at some point after all =)
The intro itself is enjoyable to me personally too. It both looks and sounds the part, extremely cold and austere, big props to dixan for pulling off a great track with these webgl synths!. My interest starts to wane in the second half though. The glossy materials (an importance sampled phong?) don't look very good, especially on the surrounding space. This is when it starts to diminish into a much more dull "tech demo" as well (which admittedly is fair enough since that's how you described it to me prior to the party anyway =)).
Grats for getting 1st place yet again... the streak continues, you've got the magic touch.

captivating!
Beautiful technology and rendering but aesthetically it does nothing for me. It sits firmly in the uncanny valley of a physics tech demo that could be used to create something memorable and meaningful but is not. The progression brought new tech elements but little that felt relevant in any way. I kept waiting for something that would bring sense to it as a whole, but it never arrived.
exactly what preacher said & thanks for the writeup =)
Outstanding!
ok:)
:+1:
reflection porn!
looks nice. even though the tune made by dick sun ( <3 ) is not to my liking and i feel a significant disconnect between what i see and what i hear, this is still impressive. still can't thumb it up because while it's great as a tech presentation, i lack the artistic/direction factor which i usually hold dear.
One question: in the technical writeup, you mentioned you use "inverse square" weighting when accumulating samples for the bilateral blur for rough materials. By this do you mean that the weight for each sample is the inverse square of the distance from that sample to the original pixel? It looks surprisingly good here (in no small part due to the very high number of samples used and temporal supersampling, surely). In [engage](http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=69658) and [dope on wax](http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=81015) (blurring marched and screen space reflection results respectively) I experimented with gaussian, linear distance, and uniform weighting schemes; I ultimately settled on uniform as that seemed to look the best with the materials I wanted at least, but I'm still not happy with the result admittedly.
balls touching! very well! 😗👌
Not bad. Too bad it doesn't run on Mozilla's Gecko web browsers . :(
Slick and shiny, me like.
Really great looking stuff - I could have wished for more interesting sound, however what's there works.
I really love how you stretch the (great looking) effects you have to maximum without it overstaying its welcome.

That is quite magical in every way, alluring and bewitching. The visuals are beautiful, the music is so delicate & well crafted it wouldn't be as enjoyable with any other sound and set's an ethereal tone which I absolutely adore, brilliant stuff!
Balls are always good
Nice ballsy techdemo
What Preacher said.
Cute
A well-deserved victory
Cool!
Nice 4k with Raytracking RTX ON!
thumb
Superb! And I love collisions!
THIS IS AMAZING! the lightsetting is so so perceptible, like sitting in an actual cabin during different times of day, i love this adventure! actually, i love everything about it! well done!!!
yes
physics and path tracing in 4k! wow
