So lovely! ♥ Almost a bit wasted to release this into the wild ;) You could have waited for the next demo party
sweet!
Nice textmode tricks.
It's not a problem if you actually ask people for permission to use their stuff (which IMHO you should be doing matter if you release into a compo or not) and properly credit everyone.

I've to rip gfx and music since we lack graphic artists & musicians, so the prod wouldn't fit compo rulz :(

nice, but please forget about the adlib and do GUS next time
neat little prod :)
sweet choice of music, reminds me of the burntime soundtrack but could be any of his early 90s works i guess =)
Very nice! And Adlib is just fine, thank you, especially for an 8k intro. :) Hope you find some artists.. maybe in time for @party in June?
Nice textmode intro that I wouldn't think it's textmode.
Cool!
Very nice design
Nice one!
Wasn't textmode supposed to use fixed charset? :O Mindblown!
enjoyable
thumb up for proper use of text mode. I personally never understood the point of text mode competitions that were limited to fixed char set and palette. Also I think Adlib is more appropriate for a 286 production than something like GUS. Hope you get some help with music and graphics next time.
...cool...makes me wanna dig into font manipulation also :-)
sweet
Nice!
Ooh. Good stuff!
Hehe. Vimeo video.
Niiiice!

In TMDC, yes, where it was a stylistic choice, but outside that, go nuts.

They were intentional boundaries. Without those, who cares if you're using text mode or 640x400 16c mode or whatever. I understand if that's not your cup of tea, but it was mine.
"out of range" on both S3 and NVidia (well, 78hz is too much for standard VGA, don't forget to switch pixelclock to 25 MHz if 8px wide fonts are used :), works flawlessy in DOSBox. awesome trickery!
also extra thumb for fucking up my NC panels after exit :D

Nice work!
Back then I've switched to 8pix fonts by using:
mov ax,01200h
mov bl,30h
int 010h
mov ax,03h
int 010h
and then forcing 400 lines ( was it 9 to 0x3d4 and 64 to 0x3d5?)

You done good...

didn't know that with the pixel clock, thx for the hint
try this ;)
speaking of modern cards/igfx: connecting monitor via digital interface (and via VGA on post-Ivy Bridge(?) Intel iGPU, not to mention HDMI->VGA converters - anything that's not a native VGA) would limit refresh rate to monitor default (i.e if display native timing is 1920x1080 60hz everything under DOS would run at 60hz, even textmode)
Nice! (i used 640x400 "text" mode for some intros in 1990s)
Heh (unexpectedly) nice crisp shapes in textmode.
bugfixed exe works perfect on real hw, thanks ;)
Lovely nice intro, runs fine on real hardware as well.
Nice!
nice
Nice.
Cool!
Nice hires textmode MS-DOS demo
Nice intro!
Seems to work fine even on a V20 equipped XT with a Trident, but for some reason fails with a Tseng Labs ET4000.
