Nice with pumping music
nice with vbxe
\o/
The Grench ST guys really know how to do Grench realtime :-)
What's the main problem about this prod? It is located under Atari XL/XE but it doesn't run on such a machine. Seems SV2018 has been the biggest deceiving event for the Atari ever.
awesome with vbxe :)
does Atari XL/XE platform needs to be subdivided?

Na, that's why there are separate categories in the compo.
But the amount of releases does not justify a separate Pouet category, just a clear mention in the .nfo as it was done here.
Still cool even with this accelerator
Nice to see this great poly show ported to another platform.
And also with a really cool music.

nicely done, superb paced visuals and msx.
Port of an oldschool ST demo to the XL but with an accelerator still cool :)
slow and boring at 2:15
Need more!!
I am impressed at the power of the VBXE. This seems smoother than on STE. Well done!
Amazing to see this port of STNICCC 2000 by Oxg on ATARI XL !
VBXE is amazing. Good wrk =)

VBXE/Rapidus was a separate compo for 8-bit Atari so all is fine here.
I'm not a VBXE/Rapidus fan, but it's amazing what you guys can do with it.
Rulez for sure!

The idea came up to held an interesting scene compo when Axis reengineered
the data file format of the famous Atari ST demo „STNICCC 2000“ by Oxygene
Aim is to port that demo on as many platforms as possible. The Atari
8bit version parses the original Atari ST data file (640kb) and renders the
polyon stream as fast as it can. The time counter shows the actual time
spent for complete rendering and stops when it restarts the flight.
Heaven, 1st November 2018
What are we talking about… there was a time when grench ST mega group Oxygene released
Axis of Oxyron reverse engineered the data format of the demo which is actually a polygon stream rendered in realtime on the ST and the idea was born how the demo would look like on different platforms like Amiga, Atari 8 Bit, C64, PC, GBA or HP calculator, smartwatches etc.
and today at Silly Venture party me presenting the Atari 800 version using the VBXE video expansion to render the stream. the 640kb big data file is not altered and parsed with the 6502 and rendered with the blitter. palette is converted to ST palette format.
