First ever VLC demo?
I'd guess it's the first ever VLC demo/intro. VLC doesn't really have animation capabilities, if you don't write a plugin or something, so it's not a good platform in that sense for making demos.
I.e. the animation hack thing is the real beef of this prod. :D

This is a realtime 64KiB intro running inside VLC media player 3.0.0 (or newer) for Windows, no plugins.
TRSAC 2018 competition rules for Animation / Video compo:
