Absolutely massive. The corridor scene is an absolute masterclass in lighting + composition + editing.
what a very very good demo: nice play with light and dark, fitting music with great sync, and bestofall steady 60fps on my rig (older quadcore, nvidia 1060, win10).

i really was wondering if colors where forbidden in the demo compo :D or is 2018 the year of b/w?
anyway, on one hand this thing is massive. looks great and sounds great, no doubt about it. on the other hand one could write cocoon on the screen and exchange the skull and it would be the same demo. it sadly lacks a bit of individuality imho no matter the effort.

Guys, just because it has a skull in it doesn't mean it's a Cocoon demo :) The stylistic differences are pretty apparent as soon as you start looking beyond the absolute surface.

Well deserved first place. Visuals and sound reminded me a bit of Cocoon's prods but overall this was great

This one was by far my favorite from the demo compo. Every scene was carefully designed, it perfectly fits with the music, and there are new surprises as you advance in the demo. Congratulations!!!!

The stick man figure did it for me. Great stuff, I'd prefer a gritty instead of polished approach, but that's just me.
Some elements are a bit rough around the edges, then some parts show excellence. Good job overall.

A bit too much recycling, but looks great and code is solid. Soundtrack is brilliant, and sounds like a million bucks.
Last couple of month every Altair release was good and getting better so that sets expectations. And this one does not disappoint. But am expecting more greatness for next couple of releases. Keep it up!

Runs smoothly here, tunnel+ribbon is a throwback, but the camera and light work makes it ominous and tasty, especially with the music that starts interesting but then dissociates itself from the visuals somewhat; isn't as dire as the visuals. The skull doesn't fit in with this. (This is just the promise I saw and hoped for when watching, however.)
Grayscale may have replaced the standard of grayscale+accent color, but in doing so is becoming standard. I think an accent color or two would have worked here.
