I really enjoyed this one. Also, a realtime HBC prod!

very very nice!
Great atmosphere
great, one of my favorites from compo :)
Had a hard time deciding whether it was this or the blade runner one that was the best in compo, but this is probably the better intro in the end.
so... was that "fuckings to mercury" or am I the only one who interpreted the message as such? :D
I thought we had already seen 150 % of the amount of space planet star explosion destruction doom story demos that mankind can tolerate. But here come some more. The satellite object had disturbingly aliased edges and the orange burning ball is ugly as heck compared to the beautiful star lens blur things in the beginning. No recollection of what the music was like.
And the thumb!
Please watch with 65536x FSAA :-)
awesome!
nice.
not really worth 1st place though imho.

nice: great DOF, nice space station geometry
not as nice: the starfield is small, there's more alias in the reflections than the rest of the compo combined

Excellent 3D modeling! The oldschool palette scrolling effect on the sun's surface is cute :)
Amazing geometry in 4k. Background felt a bit out of place, though - stars instead of a starfield.
Dat's sum good shit
1nsane!
Cute
Took a while to figure out how to run it, but it's a nice one. :)
a bit ugly, but nice.
A bit slow paced but looks excellent and does what it needs to do.
Great, especially on screenshot.
It's nice to see proper geometry in 4k instead of a blobby implicit field. The intro itself left me a bit cold though.
It's a 4k intro. It stands out from most of the others. The geometry is elaborate and there's a proper attempt to construct a coherent environment.
Still it kinda looks extremely strange though. The skybox (starbox?) is strange, the materials are strange, the object proportions are strange. The pacing and editing is strange. The synth is strange, which I think sadly is unavoidable on the "web" platform. Also the lack of any(?) tonemapping is a bit painful =(
All in all though, great job on delivering on your promise from almost a year ago!

I wanted to call this "a strange combination of 2008ish rendering and 2016ish post processing" but Preacher puts it nicely in that this is some well-defined non-implicit geometry in a 4k for a change, and I'm no longer used to seeing that :)
The rendering lacks almost all of the polish I'm used to from today's productions, but never mind that as there's a well executed idea here, and the platform is not as well explored as Windows is.
The audio is pretty meh (again, probably platform), but its minimality fits the theme and the explosion in the end more than makes up for it!

When I saw Farbrausch's "The Product" for the first time, I was disappointed by the boring constructive geometry (I was expecting something more recursive and chaotic). In 2018, however, it is pretty refreshing to see simple constructive geometry instead of raymarched fractals.
good
Preacher sums it up
neat! thanks for sharing the source too
It didn't work in both SeaMonkey v2.49.4 and Internet Explorer v11 web browsers, so I had to watch on YouTube. I don't use invasive Google Chrome. :P
Nice
For some reason only a piggie from me. Everything is strange like noby said. Especially stars (maybe they are some entities instead?) and colours/contrast.
i am kinda happy that this 4K won.
saw some flaws, there are even some things i don't entirely agree with.
ace atmosphere at times! this was amazing to watch!
will rewatch it at some point of time and make a new judgement eventually. ;)

This is the best 4k JS demo I have ever seen! Great work! A minor minus for the aliasing, but the geometry, camera work, surface details etc: wow! Also nice work on minifying the SoundBox player routine.
I'm extremely impressed by the geometry and the fact that it's made in JS and will readily give a thumb for that alone, but otherwise I have to agree with Preacher and noby. It didn't really entertain me. This Assembly's 4ks seem to have an overall theme of having a promising start but running out of oomph juice some 10–15 seconds in. :p
this was really pretty and soothing to watch, i loved the non-boring starfield and the over-all simplicity. more please!
Rulez!
I bit too boring for my taste.
so now we measure size of the small code intro by the size of the source code not the compilation.. Fantastic achievement in that challenge observed here.
Nice little space 4k
nice
