Colors actually look quite nice even though they are very definition of coders colors. Maybe the effect and palette are subliminally inspired from cumbeast's logo?

it was fun to watch the struggle to get this from 4k to less than 1k at the party place
that might be doable in 64b - 128b. that said, welcome back =)
Spent a few evenings on this now, already down to 640 bytes while still running smooth on my 486 :) Great way to get back into x86-coding
