Cool theme
ok now that's some stylish VCS work right there, lovely, just lovely! <3
Extra thumb for the end tune too :)
Cool graphics and effects. Special love for the cartouche image :)
Really nice effects and graphics and the music is a very pleasant and different surprise. The theme holds up well and the timing is spot on.
greets to both rsi and trsi! ftw
Really nice
What Keito said !
Quite refreshing music for the platform. graphics and effects were ok as well
I generally agree with Tjoppen. Amazing production, great concept, splendid (copper-filled;) graphics and original dezign! TOOOO short thou!
And the muusic just made it instantly a 2600(BC) CLASSIC!

Amazing hires graphics.
Awesome demo!
Nice demo with an egypt theme
I keep getting surprised by the improvement in the graphics department on VCS demos.
Well done :)
Well done :)
Really, really, really impressive demo with great graphx, well done !
Really cool.! :-D
Best 2600 demo I've seen in ages. This is what I wanna see more of.
Easily the best hi-res gfx I've seen on the VCS, which alone is already worth a huge thumb up! The theme and design are cool, too. Effects are solid, but the music, while thematically fitting, is not really my cup of tea.
Laughed my ass off, great production, well deserved 1st place!
Watched it again. Blown by the design and overall visual aspects!
Congratulations the 1:st place with such a strong competition!

Lovely bit of work on the VCS
update: best 2600 demo so far
beautiful!
Very nice design and execution, well done!
I really enjoyed it, well done!
Excellent and coherent style and composition, especially regarding the platform it's running on.
Could've been a minute longer, though.

do i sense a little zak mckracken in the intro? :D
music sounds a bit detuned at places (well, TIA...) but the gfx are SO WORTH IT!

Great style and design!!
Really nice!
WOW! Good graphics, music and presentation.
Thumb was lost...
Adorable graphics. The idea of use altered line colors an interleaved elements is so cool. Great transitions also. Using a two line kernel to do the Kefrens fits well. Had not seen the twisting and lightsource of the blocks in the scarabaeus parts in on the big screen - excellent detail. Clever choice with $3f. I think I should give that a try one day. Yes, it's a bit short and probably 16k would be possible, but $700 bytes per graphic take their toll and hey, compo rules say 32k.
nice little demo.
Not bad. :)
Top of the Month? Dass ich das noch miterleben darf! o.O
♥ so much style on such a low end platform! Great theme for fitting title+music+gfx.
extremely nice style and great use of the vcs. one of my favourite demos for the vcs!
Nice demo
Very creative, regarding the platform :)
Very yes!
I did not know anything about this awesome prod before the release, and I am the damn organizer! :D Keep on surprising me, Shadow and Mermaid! Love you!
Great!
Very rich on graphics for an Atari Vcs prod. If only the games looked this good back in the days :)
nice
great! (not long enough however ;)
Love it - great graphics Mermaid!!
really nice one... !
the bassline of the music remembers me a bit to aztec challenge... a game on c64 i played alot ;)

pyramid power!
Nice what can be done on the VCS nowadays...
VCS Love!
great!
just spent some time decoding that cartouche and it transliterates as ꜣtꜣrꞽ or, unsurprisingly, Atari
Overlooked this until now.
Exquisite presentation!
Exquisite presentation!
great
Fantastic!
Great VCS demo :-)
Great! And really moody!
Very impressive gfx on this absurdly limited system.
hmm, this place really died out post-covid when you look at the bare number of reactions ... nice piece, definition of oldskool .. sinusoidal scarabs with a z-buffer too , bit of a shame Atari seems to have turned into some nationalist corporation but bem .. that wont stop the groupies
Technically impressive and very tidy execution. Some of the best graphics and music on the platform. RIP Shadow :(
impressive + theme
Wow, very nice!

I actually started working on this demo about a month ago as a small onepart compofiller for SillyVenture since I had promised Grey something for the VCS 40 year anniversary compo.
But when I asked Mermaid for some graphics, she produced so many lovely pictures that the project grew to a full multipart demo!
