every few frames (irregularly), the timer seems to be 1 pattern too far or whatever. the result is quiet annoying flickering.

that aside, i'll summarize it as "there is still quite some room for improvement" :)

I'm sure Plek can discuss my feelings about this intro more eloquently and verbosely as I can at this moment in time.
