Not really my kind of demo but i must admit that there are some fantastic effects !

Best demo in the compo, if my memory serves me correctly. Oldskoolish effects fanfare and a really cool one at that, I like it. The music was a bit of a hit and miss, but I did really enjoy the more melodic segments, the beaks weren't my style. Color are a bit sucky though, and the design department while excelling for an example layouts, typography and some of the cameras, was really lacking in colors and backgrounds. I also have to echo what break said.

Brilliant! My favourite of the compo. Can't find any complaints at all. Love the golden particles on the icosahedrons, and the various ASDisms, like the video hand at the end which was flawlessly executed.
So fresh! Excellent music and sync.

Hey everyone! We're so thrilled and happy that you like our demo! It was an exhaustive process to piece it together but also tremendous fun. You might be happy to hear that dstar, fizzer and myself are wanting to make more demos together in the future!

Some random facts about this demo:
- All info text was shown in just one scene, to keep all other parts clear of distraction and make the effects fully shine.
- We forgot to include the party's date!
- We had considered adding some easter eggs, none made it into the party version however.
- The AC3 surround file is, due to format specifications, much quieter than a regular mp3 file and sounds tamer, which is why you have to turn up the volume a bit. I have tweaked the volume levels as best I could.

Oh and also the party version's music does not have an LFE and center channel, I'll be adding the former in an updated .ac3 file soon, however there isn't really a need for the center channel as it only monofies everything.

Some really nice scenes in this demo. I like it!
There are a couple of really good looking things in there (nice overcast btw), but the whole doesn't really hold together.
The invitation part in particular arrives from nowhere, as if it had lost its way and found itself in this demo god knows how.

I don't get warm with this release. There are some really cool particle effects, the great scene with the Titan logo and the magic hand. But I neither like the music nor do I think that it fits really good to this demo. Also the scene with the hand should have been a bit longer. Overall there's some visual poetry in there like in ASD demos, sometimes it's just boring.
Weak thumb up. At first viewing on the bigscreen I only remembered the hand and how incoherent and random it all was. On second viewing at home, I liked it better but it still feels randomly cobbled together, although some of the effects look really nice. Hm...

Nice ideas, seamless transitions, lovely scenes without an in-your-face showoff style, just subtle details, the way it should be.

Regarding the TDR Delay: If you are doing a lot of graphics coding, you want to disable the bluescreen mode in all cases. Default settings generate a bluescreen if you hit the 2 second timeout often enough in a certain period of time and that's very unpleasant.
I use 17 seconds + disabled the bluescreen stuff.

"OpenGL init failed." -- It didn't want to run on my very old Windows XP Pro. SP3 machine with ATI Radeon 4870 video card (512 MB of RAM; very old driver since the newer ones have serious problems).

Loved this one throughout. Nice logo treatment at the end too. Made me think of a bunch of other demos while watching, dunno if these were deliberate.

I admit I'm a sucker for SunSpire's style, so that alone is somewhat of an insta-thumb, but the beautiful and shiny visuals fit the music oh so well (and vice versa). My personal compo winner.
