Great! Lots of reviews.
By the way, catchy and nice tune!

To work the nav in WinUAE: You might find your cursor keys are bound to a joystick by default, and you can't navigate. So hit F12, choose Host->Gameports, and set Port 2 to <none>. Then you can work the menu system :)

DAT TUNE! O_O Awesome! Thumb up for that one alone, content is interesting too as usual. Thanks, keep the Irregular Review series alive please. :)

Thanks for the Nav tip Fell. But what did you guys do to my title pic? The font is covered in pixel artefacts that weren't there when I sent it to Hoffman...

choooon!
Dominance through simplicity!

Note to Slummy: yes, we're cobbling on the final. Planned release in Hell ... TRSAC that is

Nice set of reviews and charts. There's certainly a lot more stuff going on than what I'm picking up through compulsive Pouet refresh. I like that 'promised finals' chart.

You learn something every day. Now I know that the protractor offset command's unit is $1000 bytes! As a guy who is thinking of generating samples for a 64k from time to time this is nice info. Also there are several ways to set volume prior to triggering a note with an offset command? But it doesn't say how though.

For the mag I like that it can be finished in an hour or so.

Although basically all tunes and productions I´ve been working on reviewed in here are more or less getting off too badly in my humble opinion, I am old and man enough to respect other´s opinion and still not downvoting it.

Well done and still an interesting read.

Finally! A really interesting read as always.. It's great there's someone writing more in-depth reviews and critique of demos than the usual pouet comments.

Had some odd bugs on the 600. Maybe needs a final? Also, LHA with executable should be the standard unless you use a track loader.

Not an A600 but memory related problem, IR3 apparently doesn't work correctly on 1 MB Chip only machines.

Why? What's wrong with a disk image?

Nice issue, appreciated. Thanks guys!

Regarding packaging. Image is generally fine. I wanted to install and run this issue on real hardware from new disks. HTTPS from the server forced me to use the PC. Unzip was no problem. Then copy adf to disk and run. I needed to actually boot from disk. IR3 didn't run from AGA060 WB with network stack at first try.

Sounds like a good excuse for another Protracker seminar.

lol "no respect for other people's ideas what demos ought to be"!!

thanks for the review! i don't know why it won't run on '060 though.. a mystery..

Nothing wrong with a disk image but it would be nice to have a regular file too or if the file name indicated it contains an image. I didn't check the contents before transferring the file and uncompressing an ADF on 68000 and writing it to disk is more hassle than uncompressing an executable and running it.

Btw it seems to work (the editorial section etc isn't blank) on chip only A600 (2MB) with setpatch.

The download link has now been updated with a new version which fixes:
- The bug which occurred on machines with just 1 type of memory.
- The corrupted intro graphics
- Very important note added in the editorial.
Entertaining articles again

That tune is a masterclass in tracking in itself. Seriously, if you have any interest in tracking go pore over this mod in detail, this is how it's done. The rest of the mag is pretty slick as well, love the retro neon-glowy aesthetic.

One suggestion for the next issue is to include screenshots of the reviewed prods. Sometimes it was hard to remember whether I have seen the prod being reviewed from the name alone (but that might just be my senile oldfart brain at work)

Unpacked the disk contents onto the HD on my 1200 '060. Runs w/o any trouble.
Great tune and I really love the interface.

It's definitely a nice read, with lands to even more demos and music modules for the AMIGA to discover. The soundtrack on this diskmag is also sublime!
