But really, nice semi-ambient intro.
DoF is a tad too aggressive insofar it's at times impossible to see the things that should be in focus. But that's nitpicking. Best YOLP et. al. intro thus far.
Pretty cool. I like DOF effects but as was said maybe it was played with a little excessively.

so damn good! one of my absolute favourites from the party. would have been great as 64k intro or even as demo, too. the soundtrack is amazing music-wise and can fully stand alone, all size restrictions notwithstanding.
This is excellent! Technically really solid for a 4k, content is nice enough and the audio is superb. Great to hear people using 4klang to its proper potential! Instruments, mixing, composition/structure, it all works. The visual content is a bit thin though; could've been made more interesting with a couple more camera angles and some more local lighting (at the moment looks a bit too much that there just a constant ambient light). Would've loved to have seen the focus shift to the black bar/pip/whatever too! Also the lens aberration and bokeh are way overdone for their own good, but at least they looks relatively nice :). The aliasing is a shame though.

the 4k framework was recoded on pure C for "nwep final" however then provod (due to his greediness :]]] ) recoded everything again on pure asm (see sources)... camera work can change everything here and the fix of DoF, but that for the next time... less programmer expiriments and more design artistic expiriments.

Thanks a lot for your kind words and feedback! Majority of shortcomings are due to me being over-focused on tech (fun fact: there are like 4.5 different experimental versions of its runtime, including a tiny bytecode interpreter written in assembly, which unfortunately ended up being compressed by crinkler worse than native x86 assembly; I haven't investigated that yet) rather than artistic content. Content-wise this intro is essentially a partyprod: geometry was mostly coded at the partyplace, and camera movements and other time-dependent parameters were all rushed to be finished within an hour before the deadline.
