Visually this feels like something out of the modern abstract indie game "walking simulator" movement (games like Dream or Niko), which I dig a lot, and I like how you took the SSR artifacts and hid it as design ;)

Audiowise it feels like a mix of Pink Floyd's "Time" and Tipper's "The Bedraggling" but lacking the engineering finesse to keep the drums in line and force them to gel with the rest of the song (do you want transients or not?)

It's super different which I like and I want more of this so I'll thumb it up - but please spend as much time on engineering the music as you do on engineering the visuals ;)

So, if you want to make a non-demoish demo, this is the way to do it. There are weaknesses, of course, and I don't understand half of it, but it really works.

I put this in the "trying hard to art, but can't pull it off" category. The visuals just can't keep up with what the audio's demanding.

Thumb up for starting on the right screen. I've got 3 screens at the moment, and sometimes it's quite a challenge to guess where the demo will appear.
Anyway... I really like this demo! Doesn't feel random, feels like it has a concept somewhere, and the soundtrack and sync is really good as well. Very refreshing.

Both the music and the visuals really did it for me, and I applaud the courage to do something this different and (one could say) artsy. Deserved to place much higher in any case. :(

Weak thumb up, because very great graphics and art, but the soundtrack with the drums destroyed everything.

Enjoyed this the most after Adapt, the placement is strangely low. Fish scene was mesmerizing.

This is something you could put into a dark room at Kiasma, not very demo-like at all :)

Loved this to bits. Something unique and different and delightfully weird.

This definitely was a bold thing to create. And it does work well enough for it to not tilt over to the cheese or self-parody. All I can say is that I'm looking forward to seeing more of what you can come up with, and those percussions are especially my thing.

Good visuals, but the music is way too experimental for me.

The most surprising entry from the compo and wildly underappreciated by the voters. Really moody soundtrack that went with the visuals. Artistic demo that personally generated a lot of feeling and thoughts while watching it.

Thought it's quite avant-garde. I'm not sure what exactly this signifies, I'm not sure if I like this or not, but I watched repeatedly and thought about it a lot...

If this was ranked the highest, I would've considered that the Assembly's audience is rather arty snob. And if this was ranked the lowest, I would've questioned something else. (By the way, it's a compliment.)

Arty stuff. Maybe needs another 5 years of name voting to get to the top.

I love what you do, but this one just caught me for the last minute. Before it was way too weird and the soundtrack was horrible.

I don't really feel like I understand this after watching once, and it leaves me wanting to. I like the completely different style and the atmosphere was captivating! I'd love to see more of this.
